I loved this ice cream spot, the woman in charge is very easy going you can tell that she love what she does, the taste of the ice cream is amazing, my favorite is mixed berries with banana! Super recommended !

The best vegan ice cream in Tulum - Edit
We found the cute little cart outside of La Hoja Verde. The ice cream was delicious and the best part...SUGAR FREE! The lady who runs the cart is so nice. We went back several times for more during our stay.

The owner is pure magic. Wonderful person. Vegetarian her whole life, new vegan.

All good...- but then we noticed there’s only one machine and it was already used...
So what I’m trying to say is, she didn’t clean it for our ice cream and I think that’s not an exception, it’s usual.
We didn’t ask her if she cleans it always after non-vegan ice.
So maybe ask before ordering vegan ice and let me know :)
If she offers you a cone or the paper, go for the paper because the cone is not vegan (we asked).
Pros: tasty ice cream, no added sugar, lovely host
Cons: I don’t THINK the machine is being cleaned after , non vegan ice cream base (I didn’t ask, because , it was already to late...)

Hi! Thanks for your comments, we appreciate it in order to give you better service. we stoped making non vegan so no one get any dairy lefts overs. And when we used to make the non vegan we changed the cone of the machine. Sorry for the delay response 🤍
