I love this location. Drinks are great! They have dairy alternatives which sometimes is half the cost of the drink. But other than that it's great! They might have limited vegan food options.

The coffee and tea selections were great and I loved the avocado toast with side of veggies! Super cool spot.. I took a sound healing training at the studio upstairs and did yoga there most days, so I popped in this cafe quite a bit.

java always has oatmilk and is great for working which is why i tend to go back there, even though their menu is quite limited. no vegan food options on the menu but you can customise the avo sandwich. they do a decent matcha latte.

Café with oat milk in different locations - Edit
In June 2024 I was desperate for some iced coffee ideally with oat milk in the Kathmandu heat, but we didn’t want to walk to some of the places further in Thamel that specialize on vegan food and drinks. So my Nepali boyfriend convinced me to try this popular Café chain that has multiple locations e.g. in Kathmandu - and they had oat milk! A great option for when you need something nearby!
Read moreWe went there multiple times and it was a great place to relax - with an A/C inside but the seats on the balcony are also nice. The staff is friendly and service is pretty fast.
For food the options are rather limited, but I asked for the avocado and egg bread to come without bread and without any other animal products. They substituted the eggs with mushrooms which worked well.
Only three stars since for a Café it’s great but for the food you really have to ask.
