Clearly (and understandably) popular with locals. Fairly basic menu of burgers, bowls and so on, but well executed. I had the Burning Man burger with teriyaki tofu and husband had the same with halloumi. Our son had lentil risotto which was kinda more like daal. Not fully vegan, few dairy options. All desserts vegan and delicious. Excellent, friendly service. Outside tables on busy road but well decorated so it doesn't feel exposed to traffic.

There is a large selection of vegan dishes on the menu. We chose a chilli cheeze (with quinoa meatballs) and a curry bowl (with tofu cubes). Both were very tasty and the portions were really big.

Waren zu zweit abends dort, Service und Essen waren sehr gut, etwas Zeit und Geduld sollte man mitbringen, spricht aber durchaus für das Restaurant, da es wirklich sehr gut besucht war und der Inhaber (?) den Service komplett allein gewuppt hat. Dabei war er aber durchgehend super freundlich und bester Stimmung. Als Special gibt es noch die ein oder andere Leckerei zum kaufen wie zB Bratapfellikör oder vegane Pestos. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Kassel steht der Herbstapfel auf jeden Fall wieder auf dem Programm!

From service to food, this place rates high in all aspects. While they seem to be understaffed, the staff that’s working is super friendly and takes their time with customers. They can answer all the questions about food, portion size etc. The food itself is very tasty! Portions are generous, it’s well seasoned and balanced. The restaurant is small and cozy but not loud and restless. Perfect place for great food

The best food of the week - Edit
We are currently road tripping Europe and this meal was our favourite of the week. We just turned up for lunch, could park on the street outside. Just our sort of place- friendly and homely feel with mega tasty food. My husband had a burger whilst I had the Shivalis bowl which was divine. We even bought some of their spice mix as they gave products you can buy to recreate meals at home.

Nice, small, very simple restaurant. We had burgers with cole slaw and potatoes which were really excellent. The service, on the other hand, was a complete mess that evening. We waited 45 minutes for our reserved table. The bread basket we should get as an excuse, did not come. The desserts we ordered were simply completely forgotten. After waiting another half hour, we paid and left. The service / the owner was really super nice. That made up for some things, otherwise I would have given fewer stars.

Der Service hingegen an dem Abend war ein heilloses Chaos. Wir haben erst 45 Minuten auf unseren reservierten Tisch gewartet. Der Brotkorb denn wir als Entschuldigung bekommen sollten, kam dann doch nicht. Mehrere Speisen und Getränke auf der Karte waren aus. Die von uns bestellten Nachspeisen wurden einfach komplett vergessen. Nach einer weiteren halben Stunde warten haben wir dann gezahlt uns sind gegangen. Die Bedienung/ der Eigentümer war wirklich super nett. Das hat einiges wieder gut gemacht, sonst müsste ich weniger Sterne geben.

Nice place for a short break - Edit
I was passing through Kassel and wanted to have a quick bite before hitting the road again. It's a nice place with friendly staff. Unfortunately a quick break is a challenge because it was pretty busy. Nevertheless a lot of options for food and beers. I had a burger with a side and it was just enough. Will be visiting again when I'm in the neighborhood but will take my time next time.

We went there as a stop onto our road home and it was definitely worth it. The menu is 90% vegan and really tasty, the focus is on bowl and burgers. Also make sure to try the desserts as they are completely mind-blowing! Reservations are highly recommend because there are only a few tables(~5 inside, 3 outside).

We were on our transit to the north of German, to reach this place from the Autobahn is very quick. The food blew us positively away - we had Kernkraft bowl, Chilli sin carne and Salads - so yummy and delicious! Highly recommendable. Staff is super nice, too and we had seating outside in the spring sun. Great experience
