Good Taiwanese food

Went here because it was in the area of our appartment. Didn’t expect too much but was pleasantly surprised, they seem to have a few main options in different varieties, we had:
- dumpling soup, an absolute gem both the soup (broth) and the dumplings are super delicious!
- green mustard with pork: not so many pork pieces but it was good! We had it with rice and it was seasoned very well
- spicy meatballs: nice, we had the noodles and everything was delicious. The meatballs taste like beef, the broth is a bit but not too spicy and the noodles are good.
Ordering is via a card you fill in (green for eating in, pink for eating out). No English but Google Translate will help with the menu. Water for drinking is provided for free. We paid cash.

Nice place, easy location

I had a sore throat so was unable to speak at all in addition to not knowing the language. Staff was helpful and helped me order something in my liking. Inexpensive.

Inexpensive vegan dishes

This unassuming vegan restaurant is really close to where I live and right across from the Carrefour Qinghai. The prices are very reasonable, and the noodles and side dishes we got were solid. I don't think you can really go wrong with any of them. There is indoor seating available, but my friend and I ordered take-out to enjoy at my place. Bring enough of your own containers if you want to avoid using disposable ones: they only put one menu item per container, so I should have brought four instead of two. Most of the dishes involve some kind of highly-processed, plant-derived protein though.

Pros: inexpensive, good flavors, nice variety

Cons: processed plant-based proteins
