Bite for lunch - Edit
When we arrived there were 2 options available. Big pasties which were filling. Waited for fresh ones as others were touching meat.

Grand vegan pasties - Edit
We got the two vegan pasties available that day, curried veg and Irish Mexican. They weren't in the display case but on the board so we had to ask. (There were vegan rolls in the display vase.) The pasties were grand, the fillings were pretty good but the pastry was pretty bland. Not very filling. Would recommend for quick light lunch on the go.

Pretty good pasties! - Edit
There aren't a ton of options for pasties in the U.S., so when I find vegan pasties elsewhere I always try them. Hanley's Cornish Pasties has at least three vegan pastie options, along with a few other choices. They can sell out of pasties, so you may not get to try all three. The dough is soft and flakey and the fillings are pretty good. Of course, this is fast food, but it hits the spot. Walk up and delivery service offered.

Okay, Nothing Amazing - Edit
I got a vegan hotdog surprise bag from Too Good to Go, which was available for collection the next day. The hotdogs were a little bit chewy and stale, but seeing as they had been left over from the day before I'm not reducing their rating based on that.
Read moreFor €4 I got 2 dry hotdogs, 2 sachets of mustard, 1 sachet of ketchup and 1 sachet of HP sauce. They had listed them as being €12 worth of food, which would mean that normally it would cost €6 for a dry hotdog which is definitely not worth it. I would definitely expect toppings for that price.
The hotdog itself tasted nice enough, like a milder version of a non-vegan hotdog. And the staff member who served me was very friendly.
Maybe the offerings through To Good to Go are just not very good but I wouldn't bother going there again, at full price I think it would definitely be overpriced and I feel that you could get much nicer food that's far more filling within a few minutes of this place. If they had offered event one topping (apart from the sachets) then I would have given a better rating.
Pros: Vegan options, On the Top Good to Go app, Nice staff
Cons: Overpriced

Might have been better if they weren't in a too good to go bag... - Edit
We got a too good to go bag hotdog bag for €3.99 instead of around €12 which was good. The bag had 2 vegan hotdogs with buns, they also threw in some ketchup and mustard sachets.
Read moreBut the hotdogs had no toppings (the hotdogs have toppings on the menu) it was just dry buns and dry hotdogs. I know it was too good to go but i thought they would have at least had some toppings on them.
I might go back again and try them not in an offer but for a first impression I wasn't impressed. The server was nice though.
Pros: Cheap, Nice server
Cons: Dry buns, dry hotdogs, No toppings

Multiple delicious vegan pasties! - Edit
Pasties are such a treat in Ireland and I’ve been sad to not be able to have them, enter the amazing selection of vegan and vegetarian pasties at Hanley’s - it totally hit the spot and was a great quick lunch while in Temple Bar.

Only if you need something quick - Edit
Went there for a quick meal. For that reason it is ok. Otherwise I don’t see a reason to go there as the staff was rather unfriendly and the food wasn’t the best.

No choice - Edit
Only had original vegan pasty when I visited. Contains soya & server could not elaborate what type. I did not want TVP or tofu so left with no pasty.

Friendly staff but overall disappointing experience - Edit
There are 3 vegan pasties: potato bombay (not spicy), Thai Green (mildly spicy) and fiery Mexican (very spicy). I went for the Thai Green but I must say that the flavour was overall quite bland. It was warm and the texture was great but the flavour was a bit disappointing. There were also red beans in the filling, which was odd … all in all, I would not go back to try this or other 2 options. There was nothing that resembled “Thai Green” apart from the spice. The staff was friendly but that was it really.

Decent but not amazing - Edit
I had the vegan original. It was okay but a bit dry. The vegetables inside were really flavourful though. 4,95 for one pasty was too expensive in my opinion.

Late opening - Edit
Handy for late night hunger, however would like to see more vegan options as current ones are polarising as they're quite spicy. Good if you're in a hurry.

Seconds Please! - Edit
Cute little bakery in temple bar - just in one of the side alley ways.
Read moreLove that they have several vegan options! That just means I have an excuse to go back and try the other flavours!
I got the vegan Baja (I believe that’s what it was called) pastry and it was definitely satisfying. The pasty delicious and the filling was nicely seasoned. A bit of spice but just the right amount.
At first I thought they were a bit expensive (about €5.00) but when you actually get it in your hand you realize it’s actually pretty big and heavy and stuffed full! So all in all not terrible value for Dublin or temple bar.
I will go back again for sure and give the others a try as well.
