One of our favourites - Edit
Oat milk as default, yummy fresh cakes, lovely staff and gorgeous architecture. Maple oat horchata is insanely good. We love Grounded.

Lecker - Edit
Wirklich lecker, man sollte aber früh da sein um noch leckeres Gebäck wie Kuchen oder Donuts abzukriegen. Bis es Nachschub gibt, dauert es immer etwas.

Good matcha and donuts - Edit
Especially the matcha latte was delicious! So were the chocolate donut and the matcha/oreo donut.
Read morePlace was quite full when we arrived and there is only one big table. We had to wait a moment to sit down.

Good matcha latte - Edit
The space is quite new and it offers a good variety of coffee and non-coffee drinks, hot and cold. I tried their matcha with oat milk and it was satisfying.

Nice coffee and treats at a premium - Edit
Grounded was easy to find and had a nice modern vibe. The coffee was enjoyable, as were the cakes. The pricing here was quite expensive, approx 940 php for 2 coffees and two treats.

Yum! - Edit
I was pleasantly surprised to find that this popular cafe is vegan! They had a wide variety of drinks and sweet treats. I tried the choc chip cookie and found it to be the perfect after dinner treat! Chocolatey and well balanced flavour, with flakey sea salt on top. Yum!

Amazing matcha! - Edit
Such a great spot, cookies and muffins are delicious but agree with previous posts that the matcha is unreal. Made properly with a bowl and bamboo whisk.

the BEST matcha - Edit
a really chill minimalistic cafe with delicious vegan cakes (i tried the lemon and blueberry) and a great range of coffee and none coffee. i'm a bit picky with my matcha and this passed my expectations. ask for no sugar if you don't want it too sweet. oat milk is default and they have almond or soy for no extra charge. i'll keep coming back here it's wonderful!!

I grabbed an iced chocolate on my way to the beach for 200 pesos. Was very good. Great service and everything looked great inside. Could work from here.

Minimalist Vegan Cafe - Edit
What I most love about this cafe is the interior (the irregularly shaped communal table and seats, the wall projected menu and the overall minimalistic vibe of the cafe). Also tried the match latte to-go (I guess they don't have a specialized cup for takeout, so the cup was small compared if you drink it in the cafe), mocha and banana bread (love that it's not too sweet).

Worth it - Edit
We had a matcha and caramel macchiato. Quite expensive for the Philippines but definitely worth it! First spot found where they do not use cow milk.

Divine Coffee - Edit
Grounded opens at 6am so it's perfect for those of us who like early mornings. Even more perfect that it's a fully vegan coffee shop!!
Read moreSadly they don't do decaff here, which seems normal as we've not been able to get it anywhere else in El Nido or Manila either. so instead I ordered the Salted Caramel Macchiato and asked for it to be made with a weaker shot of coffee, and it was lovely. Divine coffee and the Salted Caramel was spot on, not too sweet, just right.
I also got the banana bread to take for lunch on a boat trip. There were lots of sweet items to choose from in the cake cabinet including a healthier chia pudding with fruit on top.
The decor is relaxing and modern, great service, and it is super clean!!!!
**update** the banana bread we had for lunch was one of the best I've ever tasted 💚🌱
**uodate** the chocolafe cake is fantastic, and the iced Chai latte is a dream.
