Get Into It

Midweek woes and a general sense of malaise had me desperately searching for a pick-me-up when happened upon this intriguing service. With its eclectic comfort food options from various world cuisines, it seemed the ideal place to banish any blues; and so it proved to be.
Firstly, given the nature of this food, it would be easy to believe that it would stodgy and greasy, but it was far from it. In fact, everything felt quite clean and wholesome, yet it still delivering a high degree of satisfaction. The Lions Mane wings were wonderfully crispy whilst maintaining moisture (and were even better when slathered in ranch), the Philly cheesesteak was particularly excellent, and the burrito bowl was hearty and pleasing. Even the desserts, my favourite portion of the meal, managed to convey an air of healthiness while still being utterly delicious. The brownie, somewhat to my surprise, just about edged the unique - but superb - cheesecake as the dish that garnered the most plaudits from me. Out of everything I had, the only item that I took the slightest of umbrage with was the Katsu curry. It was tasty enough, and the breaded tofu was rather good, but flavour-wise it wasn’t authentically what it should have been.
However, this was but a tiny discrepancy in what otherwise was fine little feast and there were more than enough positives to warrant me exploring the rest of the menu in the very near future.
