Barely any vegan food & I don’t like to be forced to leave a tip - Edit
There was only 1 vegan food option (a cake and I don’t even remember which type, maybe carrot cake), and I really didn’t like their sort of subtle way to make me pay the extra charge fee or whatever they call it. So I ended up paying almost 4 pounds for a small americano which is nonsense.

Did they get rid of the vegan items on the menu at the restaurant side? If so, that’s a real shame, but you might want to consider putting in an update to have it removed if they no longer offer any vegan options on the food menu. ☺️

To be fair (as the British say haha, at least I heard that a lot since I got here, I'm in love with this country, the Brits and their lovely accent, anyway:) I didn't check the menu, just asked for the sweets/pastries to take away (the usual stuff you find at coffee shops to grab and go, like I wanted a vegan pastry or something) cause I wanted to drink my coffee there but then buy a snack to go. But indeed I just checked their full menu online and they do have vegan food options but to have on-site. So I guess it's still relevant to have it listed here! Thanks for the heads up :)

To be fair, that’s definitely a phrase heavily used by us Americans too! I agree that it’s annoying they don’t offer much on the coffee shop side. Canary Wharf isn’t the best for that kind of stuff (i.e., coffee shops with vegan pastries), unfortunately. Enjoy the rest of your trip!!!

I’ve had to spend a lot of time in the Canary wharf and Greenwich areas over the last couple weeks and Grind has been one of my favorite places to get oat flat whites. This location has both a restaurant and a coffee shop right next to each other. The coffee shop doesn’t really have many vegan food options outside of the plant milks, but there are a few things at the restaurant next-door. You can’t really beat their coffee compared to other options in the area.

Several vegan options. We had the Grind Vegetarian breakfast (vegan option). It was very delicious and a large portion. Would return.

Perfect Sunday brunch l - Edit
Wonderful atmosphere, decor and food at Grind. The staff were fantastic and even offered a free dessert for our friend’s birthday - which they swapped to alcohol as we had a cake already!
