Read moreI stopped by for lunch and ordered a ham and cheeze toastie, which was much bigger than I expected. It was delicious, filling, and great value for money.
There was a tempting counter full of yummy looking pastries, plus a fridge stocked with vegan staples. The attached shop was also terrific, with a wide selection of eco-friendly and vegan products.
What really made my visit special was the staff, who were exceptionally friendly and genuinely wanted to ensure I had a superb experience.

Talk about a place that gives you a warm feeling inside. Green Beans is really lovely. The owners are super friendly and the food is all amazing. Whether you are after pastries, burgers, sandwiches, toasties, salads, drinks or snacks this is a place all vegans must visit. The prices are super reasonable and I love that they have a mini vegan food market and clothing store too. All vegans should support this little gem of a place.

Best vegan cafe in Lisbon - Edit
Been living in Lisbon for over a year, tried several vegan restaurants and cafes, and this one definitely gets the gold medal. Everything is scramptious, good coffee, good vibes, very friendly service. if you’re a vegan visiting or living in Lisbon, this place is 100% a must for you. they also sell vegan shoes, wallets, purses, etc. Truly a gem in the heart of Lisbon.

The food had a lot of variety 😋. The food was amazing but one thing we just were not used to this style of vegan food but overall of it was very good. Also they had a little store in there and it was very cool.

Read moreThe people working there are very lovely and the food is really yummy and the prices are really fair. The Chocolate milk tastes like you put a brownie into a drink, the toasts are really good and the fresh orange juice is very excellent!
The pastries are also good, if you haven't tried pastel de nata this is definitely a spot to do so!

Cute little cafe. We tried the pasteis de Nata - utterly delicious. Pastry was flakey and golden and the custard was sweet and smooth. We also had two savoury pastries - ham and cheese and the utterly delicious pizza one. Finally we had a chocolate type roll - even cold the chocolate was slightly runny and tasted exactly how I remember Nutella tasting, but better. Sad we’re home now otherwise would defo be visiting again!

We’ve already visited 3 times on our trip. We love this cute cosy cafe with lovely coffee, a super delicious luxury mocha and the best vegan pastel de nata. It’s a really nice place to sit and relax. The shop has a great selection of special vegan items - we loved the vegan egg, spicy sausage, almond tofu and coconut caramels. I wish we could the pastel de nata shipped to the UK 😊

Cute little place. The no-chicken burgers were amazing, I liked the pita bread they use. Very original. Prices are nice and staff was great. There is also a store with a lot of ecological and ethical items, not just food.

Went here on a friend’s recommendation for the tomato and cheese toast, and it definitely exceeded expectations.
Read moreWe also tried a plain croissant, which was huge, perfectly fluffy, and absolutely delicious, and a puff pastry with pesto and vegan feta, an excellent combination with really balanced flavors.
To finish, we had a pastel de nata and a hazelnut chocolate roll, and everything was consistently good. Nothing felt overcomplicated or pretentious, just simple food done really well at an affordable price.
You can tell it’s run by people who genuinely care about vegan food, and it shows. It’s a great example of how keeping things simple but high-quality often works best. Highly recommended. They also have a really cool shop with vegan products, shoes, and locally made sustainable clothing.
