My favourite Lisbon cafe - Edit
Lovely little cafe that appears to be family run. We enjoyed many vegan pastel de nata's and I've been dreaming of their oat lattes! The food market attached is a great touch and we were able to load up on tasty snacks as well as enjoy a couple meals here.

The best place to eat a snack in Lisbon. They have a great variety of foods and drinks, including doughnuts, pizzas, burgers (w/ a beyond burger option), hot dogs (w/ a beyond sausage option), pastries and delicious "empadas". They all go very well with their organic coffee and kombucha.

A must for any visitors to Lisbon and locals alike! For 7 euros I got a beyond burger with chips - crazy! Amazing pastries and desserts on offer too. The cafe is also part of a larger vegan store with any grocery item you could dream of! They also had a beautiful collection of shoes.

Read moreI've been going to this store (Sapato Verde) for a few years, as well as the grocery store at the back. The staff/owners are very friendly. There is a great selection of vegan and eco friendly products ranging from shoes to all sorts of "cheeses" to cleaning products. There was small restaurant that opened a while back, but I believe it closed at some point.
In any case, the one that is there now is amazing. I wish I could go every week or even every other day. There are pizza, toasts, empadas, sandwiches, burguers, cakes, soups, Pastéis de Nata and the most delicious Bolas de Berlim... Yum. And it's very accessible. You would be paying double or more for these desserts at other places.
Pros: Great staff, Delicious, Cheap AND Quality
Cons: Few seats, Not too slow, but not fast either

This nifty little market not too far off the station proved to be a very good source of processed vegan food, food substitutes, vegan clothing, books, higiene products, household. pet products, and more. Additionally, inside the food store there is a small café where anything from small pastries, burgers, pizzas, finger foods, alternatives to local delicacies such as pastel de nata or bola de Berlim can be found. Well worth the time invested and the money.
