Really delicious snack. We ordered both the red and the white bean paste options. The white bean was my favorite but both were quite sweet and challenging for me to finish. They essentially tasted like pancakes with bean paste. It was really neat to watch them making these through the window. Make sure to eat them while they’re hot!

Vegan Baked Goods - Edit
Boy did this take a while for me to find. Having ADHD in a place with so many distractions didn’t help. But I did find a wall that had a general floor layout to tell you where stores were. I assumed it would be under bakery or something along those lines which was on the 1st basement level. Made my way towards a food area. Depending on what way you come from, you need to go right and go to the corner. Someone else who made a review had a picture of the spot which helped out a ton. So if you see this, thank you. Once I noticed it was the same, it was easy to find.
Read moreI decided to get one of each option since they only had two options. One red bean and the other some kind of white bean? I have no idea. Was able to have the white filling first and it was really good. Make sure to have them warm since it’s just fresher that way. Unfortunately didn’t have the red bean paste filling yet but I plan to go back again. I’m glad I found this place. Also thank you again for whoever had the picture of the spot
Pros: All vegan, Easy to order, Nice prices as well
Cons: Little tough to find, Can get easily distracted

Was extremely hard to find while the place itself is very overcrowded as well. But the food itself is pure bliss, I would love to come back 😋

Delicious and cheap ! - Edit
Located in the food stand area of the B2 level of the Kyoto train station. Hot cakes are very cheap (120 yen or so) and delicious! The white bean was my favourite! There is lots of sweet bean filling inside. We went back for seconds !
