also raw

Ginko is maybe not the most romantic dine option, but the food is excellent, mainly vegan including raw options in the form of a good salad selection. Prices are very reasonable, service (in english) and atmosphere also great. No complaints at all!

Pros: raw options, tasty food, friendly staff

Great place to bring Non-veggies...

I was very pleased with this restaurant - I had promised to take my family for a good Vegetarian lunch, and had my fingers crossed that this place would live up the good reviews here...The buffet selection is great, with mostly Vegan dishes and a good mix of european, indian, and salad dishes. Everyone piled their plates high, and polished everything off happily. The Cake selection is a Vegan dream come true - we decided to get a few and share them so we could taste them all: Chocolate-Banana Split Muffin, Tiramisu, Apple Streusel Cake & Berry Cake Slice. All were delicious! There is outdoor seating, which is great for summertime, and the staff all speak some English. For 5 people (plates piled high, and 5 desserts) the bill totalled EU 50, which really isn't bad for a good, healthy & tasty meal! Would definately go here again...might even consider moving to this city just for those Vegan desserts!

Pros: great selection, cheap, amazing desserts

Cons: self-service

The place to be in Graz

A little hidden and so not quite easy to find for foreigners, Ginko, for vegans & vegetarians, is the place to be in Graz.

Variety of food @ the self service buffet is good and changes every day. Vegan meals are labeled. Food is payed by weight. Coming to drinks, there's also a great assortment You can pay 20cents for a glass and get yourself as much water as you want, or you take different kinds of self-made juices and other drinks.

For dessert, you can choose one of the amazingly tasting vegan cakes that are really more than worth their prize and have a fair-trade coffee with soymilk.

Best thing about ginko is the friendly and familiar athmosphere. Staff is really nice and willing to give you further infos about the food. I don't just like to go there to have my meal and leave again, i really like to sit down for two hours ore more and have a good time with my friends.

Pros: Amazing food, Friendly athmosphere, Vegan desserts

Cons: Kinda hard to find

a bit hard to find but fantastic food

he had some problems to find it, but its worth the search!! its a self service restaurant, and at the end your food is scaled. all the different dishes are marked if they are vegan or vegetarian. They have great vegan cakes, and for the water you pay 20 cent and then you can re-fill as often as you want!!! I inspired my "carnivore" boyfriend for vegan food. he loves the food there as much as i do

really nice

For me as a vegan ginko is really good. The got every day vegan stuff and sometimes everything. Try the vegan cakes, they are awesome!(you dont get this good cakes anywere else)Its a self getting restaurant, what is really cool because you can choose what you want. service is very friendly and speaks english. They dont use microwave, and they only use gas-heating that doesnt destroy energie of the food. The ambient is super nice with music and atmosphere is good. You can also choose fresh made juices and coffee (fair trade) is also tasty and you can get it with soyamilk.Everyday they got also indian food and also food alround the world. Big salad-buffet. Food costs 1,10 Euro per 100g, so around 5 euros. Lots of food is biological too. For every vegan it is THE Restaurant in graz.

Pros: excellent food, non smoking, good value

Cons: midday much people (go there after 2 pm)

kind of really nice place

Well food is awesome. Especially the way staff puts accent on supporting Vegan food. I was more than twice eating there when they had whole buffet completely vegan.
Cappuccino is one of the best I ever tasted and I collected experience of cappuccinos in almost every bigger European town.
For me, by far the best thing are the vegan cakes, which I must say are more than good. Lots of different cakes, and all are really on high level.

Pros: very much vegan food, selection of soja coffes & teas, vegan cakes
