Amazing! - Edit
It is a self-service restaurant with a lot of options to choose from (many salads and other main dishes). All are very delicius. Deserts are all vegan and yummy, not to sweet which is a major plus for us! There are always a lot of different cakes. There's a water that you can refill anytime, very trendy and clean place, friendly staff. Please visit this restaurant if you are in Graz, it never disappoints! I really really recommend it.

best vegan/vegetarian food in town 🌞 - Edit
Amazing buffet-style restaurant offering a huge variety of high quality vegan & vegetarian food like salads, curries, traditional international & Austrian dishes. Price is determined by the weight of the plate so it can get expensive if its really loaded. Their cake section is on the more expensive side, but tastes amazing! 🍰

Excellent food - Edit
Ginko is Graz' most traditional and first vegetarian restaurant, open since decades and very popular. You serve yourself from the buffet (salads, soup, main dishes) and pay per weight at the cash desk. Salads offer a great variety including regional Styrian pumpkinseed oil and there are one or two soups to choose. Several of the main dishes are Indian like curry or pakora, others traditional European, also casseroles, stews and pasta. Food is generally superb there and the variety is ample. Most of it is vegan, there are some vegetarian dishes too, so be sure to check the labels (pots are labeled gluten free, dairy free or vegan).
Read moreFood is rather expensive. For water, you pay 50 cents for the glass and can refill for free (pure water or decently flavored by cut fruit).
Pros: Excellent taste, Cozy atmosphere
Cons: Expensive

I come here regularly for vegan food - Edit
A large choice of different vegan (and some vegetarian) food, that changes continously, but remains always on a high level! Leans somewhat toward Indian style, but also has mediteranean and "local" style food in vegan version. Plus always a substantial salad section. Really always more choices than I can select on a given day. Since going vegan I have somewhat lost my sweet tooth, but when I go for it, I also like the vegan desserts a lot. While it is listed here as medium price I think for the quality of the food, and if you choose right, it is actually possible to eat vegan on a budget here. While it attracts quite a number of customers at peak times, I have never had trouble to find a table, neither on my own or in a group of four.
Read morePros: large selection of vegan (and some vegetarian) foo, high quality, tasty, fair price

Great Buffet and Salad - lot's of vegan stuff! - Edit
Might be my favourite go-to restaurant. It has lot's of vegan options including cake and pie. It's often crowded during lunch hour so you might want to go a little bit later if you like a more relaxed atmosphere.

Wer Buffets mag wird es hier lieben - Edit
Short summary in english:
Read moreThis place offers vegetarian and vegan food in form of a buffet. There are different dishes to choose from. A lot of vegan desserts are also waiting for you. Graz oldest vegetarian restaurant with constant quality.
**********************************************************
Enjoy !
Martina
Pros: große Auswahl an Gerichten, preislich fair, leckere vegane Mehlspeisen

My favouritest restaurant ever - Edit
Yes, it's a buffet, but the food is gourmet and the most delicious I have ever tasted. There are so many vegan dishes that, if I only take a tablespoon of each, I end up with a full plate (and I always want to try everything that is vegan). Very few of the dishes aren't vegan and they're labelled as such. Every day there are a few Indian options, many Austrian and some Mediterranean dishes. I especially love their mushroom dishes. The cakes are delicious, but quite expensive. Drinks are expensive as well (which goes for the whole Austria), but a glass of water costs €0.20 with free refills (water is flavoured with apple, cucumber, carrot, and orange slices, mint leaves etc.).
Read morePros: delicious, hearty, comfort food, delicious cakes, friendly staff
Cons: quite pricey, especially the cakes

Great place - Edit
A buffet format where you select from a wide range of hot and cold foods and pay by weight. The food quality at Ginko is very good indeed. Most items were vegan and very clearly marked. Great selection of desserts - the vegan tiramisu was one of the nicest luxury cream cakes I have ever had. Clean and reasonably spacious premises a quick and safe walk from the centre. So good we ate here on two of our nights rather than exploring the surprisingly wide choice of vegan alternatives in this lovely city.
