Offers a separate veggie menu where most dishes are either already vegan or can be made vegan on request. Could include fried tempura mushrooms, spicy okra salad, no noodle pad Thai with peanut and tamarind dressing. Also has other dishes which are accidentally vegan or can be made vegan throughout the main menu as well as desserts. Great Place for Children - Edit
I added this place even though they keep animals here. There are small rabbits in cages, birds in an aviary, goats in pens and a buffalo that is tied up. Apart from the birds I saw them roaming free as well but there's no doubt that it's unethical. I still decided to add this place.
Read moreFirstly, the restaurant is quite far out of town in Saraphee where there are very limited options for vegans unless you go to a regular Thai restaurant and customize which would leave you with something like veg fried rice. This restaurant offers a separate veggie (mostly vegan) menu and the dishes are really quite impressive, unique and tasty.
Secondly it is very hard to find a place that is both vegan friendly AND kid friendly where I can actually eat something and let my kid play. They have climbing places, slides, swings and a sand pit and they also organise some activities for kids. It is one of the only places that I know of where it's possible to feed your kid and let them have a play as well. It is also quite safe in comparison to some of the hazardous play areas I have seen at other restaurants.
I would have given 4 stars if it wasn't for the animals but they believe that this is something that children like and unfortunately Thailand has a long way to go in terms of understanding animal welfare.

Like I said, we found it useful since there is nowhere else in the area to get decent vegan food and there are so few places at all that are kid friendly and vegan friendly. I am hoping that if they know they have this listing and read this, they might change some of their set-up.
