best burgers in the area - Edit
The Hüttengaudi was the best burger I've ever eaten. It was well flavoured, perfectly layered, the bun was light and the beef patty was perfect. The chicken teriyaki burger and mac ‘n’ cheese gratin as side dish were also very good. The nachos gratin were good, but unfortunately we didn't like the cheese. The waitress was super friendly.

Good food, but expensive and small portions - Edit
Updating this review a few months later, original review is below. I just went back and had the Mac and cheese, and it was amazing. Definitely extremely filling (I will probably skip dinner today) and absolutely delicious.

I had a delightful burrito, but it was quite small. It wasn't a cheap burrito either, costing just under 15€. For that price I was hoping for something a bit more filling.

We had a chickea omelette with extra cheese, breakfast burger and white chocolate pancakes. The chickpea omelette was amazing, and the breakfast burger as well. The pancakes were a bit bland, but otherwise everything was really delicious. It was nice to sit outdoors on a sunny day.

Wir sind vor allem wegen des breitgefächerten Frühstücksangebots hingegangen. Aber auch generell gibt es dort viele verschiedene Leckereien, durch die man sich probieren könnte.

Beides war lecker, vor allem zweites. Dennoch muss ich zum Frühstück sagen, dass ich schon leckereres veganes Rührei und auch anderes auf dem Teller Sichtbares hatte. Es war trotzdem gut, aber hat uns nicht umgehauen. Es sah besser aus als es war - trotzdem lecker.

Read moreI ordered the English Breakfast and a Matcha Latte. Everything was delicious. The breakfast was flavourful and filling. Not a part I didn’t like.
The staff was friendly and efficient. They offered an English menu too. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a yummy breakfast.

We went for a Sunday brunch and were very pleased! It was so busy I think they were turning people away, so definitely book a table if you plan to visit.
Read moreMy partner had the burger, which included some omelette, bacon (a little difficult to bite through), avocado, and smoked salmon. All the components were good and worked well together - but maybe they would work better on a plate rather than squashed into a bun. The hash browns on the side were also tasty.
I had the full breakfast, and really enjoyed it. The sausages were a little softer than I would have liked, but tasted great. The mushrooms and tomatoes were nicely warmed through. The beans were good but a bit saucier than I personally like - fortunately, they were contained in a little pot. The spinach was quite boring and doesn't really belong on a breakfast plate for me. The hash browns were perfect, and the omelette was sensational, so thin and well flavoured. My only real complaint was the bread, which I would consider a very German bread and not really agreeable to my British palate.
I would definitely recommend this for a good breakfast. I'd love to go back and try the pancakes!

Der Linsenburger hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Es gab glücklicherweise auch genug Servietten. Es rutscht dann doch gerne etwas über die Finger, da er sehr gut gefüllt ist 😉

Came for the brunch. The menu has many options that look amazing! We went for the Breakfast for 2 platter which was delicious and not your typical brunch, so we enjoyed trying something new. However, it wasn't quite as filling for 2 people as I'd hoped. You might want to order 2x the breakfast for one instead :)

We went there for breakfast,but it turned into brunch. Ordered the breakfast for two, and a granola bowl for the extra fruit and unsweetened soy yogurt. The breakfast for two is very complete, with chickpeas scrambled eggs, mini pancakes, different toast, etc. They have big tables outside, which are the perfect seats when the weather allows it. Really enjoyed it.

Froindlichst means ‘the best’ in English and they certainly lived up to their name. We had the English breakfast and it’s probably the best we’ve ever had. It was delivered on a large plate and the presentation was really attractive. Everything on the plate was delicious, so much so that we went back the next morning and ordered the same (even though there is a lot of choice on the menu).

The next time we’re in Berlin we will definitely go back and try something different for breakfast, or perhaps lunch.
