Came for the brunch. The menu has many options that look amazing! We went for the Breakfast for 2 platter which was delicious and not your typical brunch, so we enjoyed trying something new. However, it wasn't quite as filling for 2 people as I'd hoped. You might want to order 2x the breakfast for one instead :)

Great place, lovely outdoor seating in a cosy neighborhood. I had the street food platter, which I absolutely loved. A lot of different foods to taste and no shortage of food. Very nice staff!

We went there for breakfast,but it turned into brunch. Ordered the breakfast for two, and a granola bowl for the extra fruit and unsweetened soy yogurt. The breakfast for two is very complete, with chickpeas scrambled eggs, mini pancakes, different toast, etc. They have big tables outside, which are the perfect seats when the weather allows it. Really enjoyed it.

Froindlichst means ‘the best’ in English and they certainly lived up to their name. We had the English breakfast and it’s probably the best we’ve ever had. It was delivered on a large plate and the presentation was really attractive. Everything on the plate was delicious, so much so that we went back the next morning and ordered the same (even though there is a lot of choice on the menu).

The next time we’re in Berlin we will definitely go back and try something different for breakfast, or perhaps lunch.

Das vegane Restaurant hat uns absolut begeistert – tolle Auswahl von Frühstück bis Bowls und Burgern, alles super frisch und liebevoll zubereitet. Auch alkoholfreie Drinks wie Aperol Sprizz runden das Ganze ab. Faire Preise, schönes Ambiente – wir fragen uns, wie das bisher an uns vorbeigehen konnte. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Lief personeel. Moet ook wel. Als je hier met een chagrijnige kop rond gaat lopen wordt je waarschijnlijk direct ontslagen. We namen een burger breakie en een omelet. Ik vond de omelet vrij smaakloos helaas, want ik had ze graag de volle 5 sterren gegeven. De burger was wel lekker.

Wir haben dort Burger gegessen und Pommen/Wedges mit Gyros und Tsatsiki. Es war alles sehr lecker. Insgesamt haben wir 52€ bezahlt, was für die Menge in Ordnung ist. In anderen Burger Lokalen zahlt man auch so viel und hat weniger vegane Auswahl. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.😄

Spacious Café with some Outdoor seating. Service was pretty slow but friendly. The menu has a broad selection of bowls, breakfast, Pizza, burgers and desserts. I had the lentil burger with sweet potato fries and basil mayo. The portion was very large, I could not finish it all. Shared one of the desserts and a chail latte, which was sweet and very nice. Will come home ere again for breakfast (served until 1pm) or coffee and cake.

Menu has plenty of breakfast and lunch dishes that sound absolutely amazing. I got the "Brettfest" for 16€ to try a bit of everything and although it wasn't that bad, I wouldn't order it again or recommend it. The bread shouldve been toasted in my opinion, which is my main point of critique. The pancakes were tiny and I personally wasnt a fan of the chickpea salad, but thats just personal taste. I did like the mac and cheese.
Read moreMy friends chickpea scamble was a tad bland too and couldve used more seasoning. Neither of us were very impressed with the food, but I would love to come back still and try the english breakfast or some lunch options.

Nice variety of vegan dishes, like burger, flambé, etc. For me personally they focus a bit too much on meat and cheese substitutes, but they do those well (so in case that is what you want, froindlichst is the place to be😄).

Insgesamt bin ich ganz zufrieden, das Englische Frühstück hat mir gut geschmeckt. Ich hätte mir nur gewünscht das die Portion etwas größer ist, insbesondere das Kichererbsen-Rührei. Die Bohnen waren leider schon Recht kalt.

Had a really good lunch here. The Flammkuchen was delicious and the vegan Brie was unreal. Nice atmosphere. Only “downside”: the truffle dip for the fries can use a little more flavor. Will come back 100%!

Keeps getting worse - Edit
UPDATE: I want to add that the restaurant sent me a private message, attacking me for „getting personal in a review“ and assuming I’m sexist since I „maybe wouldn’t have written that if it was a man’s armpit“. I didn’t get personal, I just told them that I’m asking for a dressing etiquette, it’s also for hygienic reasons. I don’t want my food to get transported next to arm pit hairs.

I used to like froindlichst, but they’re getting worse and worse each time I visit and my recent visit will be the last one for sure.
The food is ridiculously overpriced, they increased prices and cut the servings a few months ago.
A simple breakfast burger with no side dishes, the burger rather small, for 14 €.
The staff was very slow and unfriendly, asking for a spoon led to „ask my colleague“ instead of „give me a minute, I‘ll be with you soon“. Took an hour for us to get our breakfast, as we asked they said very unfriendly that the kitchen can’t work faster now.
And, yes I will say that, it disgusts me to see the sweaty armpit hairs of the waitress in her crop top. Live as you want but there should be some kind of dressing etiquette even in Berlin in a restaurant.
