Sweet little place

We had a very warm welcome and even better food. Also it was very cheap.
What's confusing is, that the lady told me, that everything was plantbased but she uses eggs and butter!

Amazing food and lovely person

This place is a hidden gem in Kuching! Fern is a lovely lady, understands the concept of veganism and happy to make all the dishes vegan. I forgot to take a picture but the food and drinks were amazing. Fern sat with us and offered lots of tips and stories from her life. Made it a lovely experience

Friendly, personal and the freshest food

I don't know how this little place survives, it was so quiet but an absolute gem of a place. The menu was limited to pasta and a tofu "dish of the day". The pastas all sounded amazing and it's all prepared and cooked freshly to order by Fren. Really good value for money and delicious.

Pros: Really fresh food, Uses local ingredients and flavours

Delicious food and such a lovely owner!

The laksa was simply delicious. Fren is so kind and sweet, such a lovable personality. It's easily the best vegetarian restaurant we've tried in Kuching!

Pros: Delicious fusion plant-based food, The owner's personality , The dog!

Delicious food and drinks, lovely owner

Really nice little place run by a lovely owner. The food we tried was amazing; I had the laksa pasta which was very tasty. My partner had the sambal tempeh which was equally as good. Nice drinks too, although I forget what I had. All very inexpensive too.

Good value n unpretentious

There seems to b two listings for this restaurant on HappyCow - one says “serves meat”. This is wrong. It’s vegan n veggie only

Pros: Tasty, Affordable

Affordable Vegan Meals

Entirely vegetarian with multiple vegan options. Nothing specifically gluten free, but the woman running the shop understood what it meant and was able to make it work. Small/friendly place. If you go, give Chloe (the dog) a good petting.

Cozy

Vegan fusion menu

The menu is vegan except for one page that includes fish and a few items that include egg. The opening hours are not always consistent and the there are only 3 tables. Dishes are western cuisine with a Sarawakian twist and some items on the menu may not be available (Fren will tell you what she’s serving that day). It’s one of two restaurants in the tourist area that understand veganism so it’s a great option on the waterfront. Plus Fren has a very cute dog.

Pros: Friendly service, Comfortable seating, Innovative fusion dishes

Cons: Items are not clearly labelled vegan
