I have been to Venezuela many times and I love Venezuelan food. Four Brothers in Austin is a favorite and I was happy to see that they are in San Antonio. The menu is slightly different here. Arepas come in an order of two or three. Too many plantains and not enough black beans for my taste. The vegan bowl and arepas are both good choices. Definitely add a side of yucca fries!

First Time Trying Venezuelan - Edit
Absolutely scrumptious. I double-checked that the sauce was not dairy-based and they confirmed it's a garlic sauce. Combined with the green salsa, the umami from the rice and beans and sweetness of the plantains were a beautiful harmony. If this is Venezuelan food, I need more of it. Highly recommend!
