Amazing meal 🤤 - Edit
Everything about this meal was amazing! The wine list is labelled with which ones are vegan - I got a delicious vegan prosecco. The olives and bread were a great starter. I got the tofu steak which somehow tasted very slightly of fish and the potatoes were like a crispy hash brown. The rhubarb and ginger dessert was delicious (very gingery!) Highly recommend.

Fabulous Vegan Food In A Modern Vegetarian Restaurant - Edit
Love Fellinis its my favourite vegan friendly restaurant and I have visited many times. Went for dinner tonight and had a wonderful meal. The food is well executed, cooked and presented with bags of flavour. .The menu changes regularly so if you visit often there is always something new on the menu. Vegan wines and beers are clearly marked too.
Read moreVisited again 16th November and the food was fabulous as usual. We had sweet potato & coconut soup and pear artichoke and cheese salad crostini to start. Mains were aubergine cannelloni with quinoa and romesco sauce and Cajun cauliflower steak with avocado sauce...pudding to share was apple and plum crumble. Absolutely amazing food on all fronts, creative, beautiful presentation and full of flavour.
I always visit Fellini's when in the Lakes and it would not be the same if I didn't.

A must if you're in the area - Edit
So good, we went twice in a row. Well thought out, beautifully presented vegetarian and vegan meals. We couldn't choose the first night we were there, so decided to go again the next evening to try another option - and we were not disappointed.

Amazing imaginative best ever food would eat there every night - Edit
The food was set out on your plate like a picture . The smallest detail . Like tied up packages of vegetables. A fake edible fat round the nutloaf . An edible pansy on my pudding . The amount of ingredients . The sauces . The plethora of tastes on your tongue ; avacado sauce , nuts , apple , pomegranate etc . So fresh . So nutritious . But tasted naughty . For me it was my dream food . We went 3 nights on the run on holiday . Check their menu . We would eat there every night out if we could . I truly believe it could convert any meat eater
Read morePros: All vegetarian and nearly all vegan and gluten fre, So cheap compared to similar restaurants , Ingredients you would not believe check the menu

Amazing upper class vegan restaurant - Edit
We saw the menu and knew that it’s gonna be a more special evening because it’s just more expensive. But we saw the comments and wanted to spoil ourselves. We dressed a little bit better and went to a really nice evening. The interior, the service and the food is definitely more exclusive than you would expect. It was absolutely delicious. We had the mashed carrots wraps and the coliflower steak, both great. First we thought that just a main dish is not enough but afterwards we were nicely sated, not hungry and not totally overeaten. The wine offer is huge! We definitely recommend that place😄

Delicious & flavoursome - Edit
Loved the location, below an independent cinema. Was not expecting it to be so fancy inside but it was a nice surprise as we have been living in our van for the past week. Service was top notch, warm welcome on arrival and just generally lovely waiters. The food was insane, probably the nicest veggie restaurant food I’ve had in a while, you can tell they have put thought into each dish and everything was clearly cooked by order & fresh! 10/10. Toilets were also really nice too(I do love a toilet that has hand cream in there) there were about 6 other couples/friends dining too who seemed to love to the food too. Overall a fab experience! Would dine here again next time in the Lakes! X

Good but definitely not brilliant - Edit
Visited here for dinner whilst in Lake District, personally I think it’s over rated. The starters were good not brilliant, the mains were honestly bland and not what the menu says.
Read moreMy dish was the Moroccan spiced filo pasty, creamy potatoes with spring onion with pomegranate and romesco sauce, just to confirm I had dry mash potatoes no cream what so ever neither any spring onions and about 5 pomegranates pieces.
The desserts were very good (I had the chocolate avocado mousse) and I would say the presentation was good on some of the dishes.

Fancy food at reasonable prices - Edit
Despite wondering if the restaurant was still open due to the slightly run down exterior, my wife and I had a wonderful meal here recently on our honeymoon in the lakes.
Read moreThe food was delicious, and very welcome considering we were finding good vegan dinner options quite challenging to come by in Ambleside. Whilst I think the starters could use a bit more variation (most were salad dishes from my recollection), it didn't stop them being very tasty, and the main courses and desserts were fantastic - very high quality food at a very reasonable price.
The wine list was also excellent and we loved that vegan and vegetarian wines were marked out, something that is quite hard to come by in our experience.
We had a lovely time and would definitely come back!
Pros: High quality fine dining style food, Very reasonable prices, Vegan wine list
Cons: A few too many salad starters

Wonderful flavours and attentive staff - Edit
On approaching from the south end of Ambleside I did wonder if it was still open. It looks a bit run down from one side. But upon entering everything is great. Nice clean rest rooms and well spaced out tables. I did however manage to catch one of their table cloths as I sat and pull over the fresh flowers in their vase. The staff were very quick to respond and sorted it with little fuss. The food was most excellent I had a celeriac and red pepper soup with three types of bread. The moussaka was one of the tastiest moussaka I have had accompanied with potatoes. I did order a side of sweet potatoes as I do eat a lot but couldn’t finish as I needed to leave room for dessert. Which was a avocado chocolate mousse. Again all very pleasant. Wide range of drinks available. A very good expertise all around.

Dinner and a show. - Edit
Fellini’s is a wonderful experience for any veggie/vegan visiting the Lake District. The service is attentive, the food came out fast and the staff are vigilant about adhering to public health guidelines (every other table is blocked out). The chefs are very experienced as the presentation of the food was considered, with aspects of fine dining including the decorative plating.

Mediterranean take on Vegan Dining - Edit
Service was great, vegan choices many and delicious food. I had the toasted ciabata to start and the nut roast for main. The nut roast was presented like a pork loin using pastry as the "fat" which was clever.

Not to miss in Ambleside - Edit
We had an absolutely lovely evening at Fellini’s, despite the COVID-19 measures and regulations. The staff really made us feel welcome and appreciated, and they did everything to keep the highest hygiene and safety standards. And that’s not even mentioning the food...! Everything we had was delicious, and there was so much to choose from, also for strict vegans. Highly recommended! I would definitely go back.
