Needs improving - Edit
I’m a big supporter of vegan places particularly small independents and I always try to be as fair and honest as possible about my experience and I hope if the owners of Fed by Plants read this they will take something constructive away. Service was so slow, polite but slow. I waited so long for my meal that I nearly walked out. The drink didn’t even arrive until half way through the meal that took so long to arrive itself. The chips were nice (bought in?) and the tartar sauce the nicest I’ve had in a long time. I appreciated that the mushy peas were garden peas and not marrow fat as per regular chippies but it was fridge cold. The tofu fish was inedible, I had about a quarter and couldn’t eat anymore. The green sludge that was pasted inside had no place on a plate. The batter was thick so crispy on the outside and soggy on the inside. If they only used a sheet of nori instead of the paste it would have been much better. When the juice eventually arrived it was room temperature and tasted watered down. I ate the chips and had half of the drink, left £25 poorer, still hungry and quite annoyed. I wish them luck, we need more vegan places but please do something about that “fish”.

Homemade and Delicious - Edit
If you’re looking for beyond meat or daiya cheese don’t come here. This is all homemade ingredients and man does it show. The food was so good. The cashew ricotta on the pizza was che magnifique. The tofish and chips was the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The owner is so friendly. Will be coming here again at least one more time before we leave.

Hidden gem. Fresh and Tasty vegan food - Edit
Really enjoyed the food and service here. I got the buckwheat waffles with tofu, beans, avocado, veg and vegan mayo for £16.50 which I thought was sooo good for the quality of the food. Lovely atmosphere, I’ll be back :)) excited to try the cashew cheese on the pizzas!!

Great find - short walk from Waterloo station - Edit
Great find. Simple yet varied menu with everything apparently made in house (including pizza dough and dips). We loved the nachos and plantain chips, and the pizzas were tasty and good size. Large portions so be careful not to over order! Super friendly staff too. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

Average - Edit
Disappointing overall. Food was average so quite overpriced. The atmosphere under the marquee was pretty chaotic and staff seemed busy doing jobs here and there - they were nice though. My avocado was hard and not ripe. Food was cold and not filling. Tasty in some parts but would have been nicer warm & more of it. Waffles are very thin. Burger was fine and nothing special.

Not good with big groups - Edit
I’m giving 4* because I think if I’d come here in a small group it would have been a great experience. However I was in a large group and it took over an hour for our food to arrive, including smoothies.
Read moreThe food was really nice, though portions were a fair bit smaller than expected for some meals. I do definitely recommend the sweet waffle though, and would come again in a smaller group.

The best - Edit
Such a nice place. Really chilled atmosphere despite the busy area. They cook everything fresh and really care about the flavours. The food and the service are their priorities, which sets them apart from other more cynically created places that just exist to appeal to influencers etc. They are always so friendly and take pride in what they do. Hope to be able to come back soon :)

Incredible food - Edit
Ordered the Tofish and Chips with tartare sauce and the buckwheat waffle with grilled tofu and roast veg. Both were amazing. The flavor profile of the buckwheat waffle inc combination with the sauces and veg was something I have never tasted before and was an explosion of fantastic flavors. Highly recommended.

Not sure where to start. The plantains melted in my mouth and had so much flavor. The tofish had this green plant flavor that you just knew was good for you and the the chips were amazing. I will come back here every time I visit this country.

Homemade cashew cheese pizza is yum - Edit
Hi stumbled upon this place today and tried their pizza with homemade cashew based cheese. It was really good. The „to-fish and chips“ seemed v popular with others. So have to come back. Not far from Waterloo which is fab.

Really tasty food, very filling - we would prefer if service wasn’t automatically included in the bill, seen that it should always be discretionary.
