Good food and vibes - Edit
The Toefish is amazing, great alternative to the usual battered halummi. Funky music pumping, from the island of Martinique, gives a party atmosphere to the place.

Nice, but could be improved - Edit
Really nice location on the South Bank. We sat outside and the tables and stuff seem a little run down (ours kept moving). I had to tofish and chips which was very good (especially the mushed peas!), but I have to agree that it was very expensive compared to more high-end restaurants.

A bit more expensive than I’m used to so we decided to share a pizza and fries.

Chips & To-fish were totally delish. The atmosphere both gives you the vibes of Southbank but without the obnoxious claustrophobia. Definitely coming back!!

Great place for visitors to London to try vegan fish and chips - Edit
Some of the best to-fish and chips I’ve ever had, in a casual and relaxed setting. Gabriel’s wharf is a cool place to visit, just off the south bank, and I would highly recommend it for any vegan visitors to London. It also has some interesting draft beers.
Read moreThe main courses were fairly priced, but the drinks (especially the smoothies and coffees) extremely expensive.
Pros: Good food, Fun atmosphere , Interesting beers

Average food - high prices - Edit
I’m glad this place is here but the prices are crazy for pretty average food. So food needs to be better or prices need to go down. Had the pizza which was yummy but was £18.50 and £6 for fries which were just cheap fries from a freezer pack. When you compare with typical price for vegan pizzas in nicer places which are about 2/3 of the price then it seems too high.

Great vegan only place. - Edit
Some very good choices. Pizzas, full English breakfast, smoothies. Large portions. It was a little expensive for what it was.

Top-notch food made with real care - Edit
I had the tofish and chips, which was flavoursome and filling. My friend had the superfood salad, which was the most enormous bowl full of all kinds of tasty, nutritious and colourful ingredients. We also shared a portion of plantain with three lovely homemade sauces.

Ok food, very pricey - Edit
As the title suggest, the food was fine but it was very expensive for what it was. The best thing was the aioli on the fish and chips. The nachos were a bit disappointing just because it seemed different then what was advertised, it said there was homemade nacho cheese and guacamole. It was just cut up avocado and store bought cheese.

Super Salad - Edit
A totally plant based eatery in Gabriel Wharf (head to the back). All day breakfast, salads, no fish n chips etc. Good range of smoothies and cocktails. Had the super food salad that was packed with goodness and tasted fab with the seaweed adding an extra dimension.

Nice tofish - Edit

Needs improving - Edit
I’m a big supporter of vegan places particularly small independents and I always try to be as fair and honest as possible about my experience and I hope if the owners of Fed by Plants read this they will take something constructive away. Service was so slow, polite but slow. I waited so long for my meal that I nearly walked out. The drink didn’t even arrive until half way through the meal that took so long to arrive itself. The chips were nice (bought in?) and the tartar sauce the nicest I’ve had in a long time. I appreciated that the mushy peas were garden peas and not marrow fat as per regular chippies but it was fridge cold. The tofu fish was inedible, I had about a quarter and couldn’t eat anymore. The green sludge that was pasted inside had no place on a plate. The batter was thick so crispy on the outside and soggy on the inside. If they only used a sheet of nori instead of the paste it would have been much better. When the juice eventually arrived it was room temperature and tasted watered down. I ate the chips and had half of the drink, left £25 poorer, still hungry and quite annoyed. I wish them luck, we need more vegan places but please do something about that “fish”.

Homemade and Delicious - Edit
If you’re looking for beyond meat or daiya cheese don’t come here. This is all homemade ingredients and man does it show. The food was so good. The cashew ricotta on the pizza was che magnifique. The tofish and chips was the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The owner is so friendly. Will be coming here again at least one more time before we leave.
