Simply the best vegan option in Montreal - Edit
The vege pitas (poultry, shawarma, etc) are amazing. It’s far from Montreal but always worth the trip after a long day.

Always fantastic - Edit
Everything is delicious and fast, friendly service. Very knowledgeable about what’s vegan and not, say you’re vegan and they’ll steer you away from the few options that aren’t. #Veganuary

We ordered a shawarma sandwich, fries, onion rings, fake wings and baklavas. Everything was very delicious. It says that it's closed on the app but it was open for delivery at 10:30am.

Best falafel in the city - Edit
The falafel is so good and their faux meats safe even better!! They also have tons of random vegan things like baklava etc that you can get to go. Note it's a very casual mostly take out spot

Awesome - Edit
The problem is that the restaurant is too close to my house and it's hard not to go there every day. Just too addictive. One star 🌟 for keeping customers away 🤣🤣🤣. They should be rude or something but I doubt that would help my addiction.

Contender for best falafel - Edit
The falafel sandwich is amazing. Every time we ate there is was fresh and delicious. Definitely a contender for best falafel in MTL alongside Yoni. I would say St. Jacques are probably more traditional.

Some items worth tasting - Edit
The potatoes are delicious as is the shawarma.
Read moreMy two issues with the place are that the vegan vs vegetarian options are unclear, and the staff is hit or miss (with a small storefront that is often hectic, I suggest you going when you’ve got time to wait in line; also, know what you want to order ahead of time because the staff can get really snappy).

Fish? This is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Always fresh, always good. - Edit
This is my neighbourhood “vegan go to”. Generous portions— Always enough for 2 meals, fresh and good! I love the schnitzel platter even if it’s a bit $$$. Friendly and quick counter service with a sit down counter to eat at. There is now a new resto opened up on notre dame in Lachine but I haven’t tried it.

Excellent food and friendly staff! - Edit
I've had my eye on this place ever since the first time I drove by it several years ago.
Read moreLast night, I went. And the menu is mostly vegan with faux meats (which came to my surprise!). I was mainly going there for the falafel anyway.
We had the hummus plate with 3 salads which the guy behind the counter helped us choose pretty quickly. And we ordered a falafel sandwich.
The sandwich was one of the best I've ever had -- I prefer it over the one from Panthere Verte. And then the plate with 3 salads, was amazingly delicious too. So many flavors... not to mention the hummus tasted fresh.
A few things to keep in mind about this place though:
1) HAve to park on the street nearby
2) Limited seating indoors (I came during winter, so i dno how the outside seating is in the summer time)
3) Ordering food was a bit overwhelming as there was so many options to choose from. In the end, I went with the basics and it was pretty easy.
We also ordered their limited time vegan donuts as well. Which were a great dessert if you are into sweets!
I'd definitely go back to continue trying the rest of the faux meats, along with more of their desserts.
I'm curious to see how other locations would do if they had a bigger sitting arrangement because most of the critics I hear come from the loudness of the staff, and lack of seating. They have a strong product, so if they have more seating and isolate the kitchen from the customers, perhaps it would make things smoother.
Overall, it was a great experience for me and I highly recommend to bring people from out of town here!

Spoiled food - Edit
Let me preface this by saying that I’ve been going there since they opened and have ordered their vegan dishes multiple times for catered events.
Read moreI was horrified to find that their potato wedges had the most foul unpleasant odour after I had ordered in the other night. It smelt like animal excrement and upon looking up why I was getting that smell, found out that it was indeed due to rotten potatoes.
I tried emailing the store instead of showing up and causing a scene but never heard back. It’s unfortunate but I will never go back as they have lost my trust. Not to mention the times where they handle cash and then handle the food.
I always felt rushed whenever I go inside and that the workers are just trying to get you out as quickly as possible. I wish they would stop this frantic “wheeling and dealing” exchange with customers and double check their products freshness. It’s sad but we will be ordering elsewhere from now on.

food is just so tasty - Edit
Arguably the best falafel in town (Green Panther being the other front runner), and their faux meat pitas are also just so amazing. They have lively staff, other interesting (vegan) products and are located in a unique part of town. But the thing to know here is that their pitas are some of the tastiest vegan food there is in Montreal.

Never had a better vegan falafel nor shawarma pitas. Everything was amazing! (make sure to mention if you're Vegan because some foods have eggs). Very small seating area but we got lucky and got there before it got full.
