Incredible! - Edit
We visited here twice during our stay in Edinburgh because we loved it so much! We tried the haggis melt and weekly special (breakfast sandwhich) on our first visit - both AMAZING and served fresh and piping hot :)) + very generous portions! The second time we tried the anti monarchy coronation chicken, which we were again impressed by. Reasonable prices for an increasingly expensive city. Definitely will return on our next trip!!

Great for lunch - Edit
Cute little place. Most people were ordering sandwiches to go when we were there. We got a kimcheeze grilled sandwich (it’s great and I’m not usually a cheese fan) and a katsu hotdawg on the specials which we also great. They had lots of sweet treats at the counter which I regret not trying

My favorite sandwich place - Edit
I’m a regular here and have made my way through their entire menu and most of their specials. They’re amazing folks! I wish they were open more frequently but I am happy with their food. Just a note there’s no bathroom here, so go to the pub next door or tesco across the street

Amazing cheese! - Edit
Delicious food, cute venue and friendly staff. However prices are a bit steep at £7 or £8 (£10 for breakfast burrito) Good selection of toasties and sandwiches. Baked goods also available (including sad looking cheesecake not in a fridge). Only have filter coffee, and milk is 30p a splash! Take cards. Sit in, takeaway, or delivery.
Read more2025 update - food is still great though prices have crept up. £12 for a the weekly special sandwich, £15 for a chicken crunch wrap. However, it's so smokey in the shop with poor ventilation, that hurts your eyes and makes your hair and clothes smell, so much so that I'd only recommended takeaway rather than sitting in.

Hands Down one of the Best - Edit
I had the lobster roll which was made with hearts of palm. The old bay seasoning made it taste so like the real lobster meat but healthier and less cruel. Even the roll was sliced at top. I added a side of Mac and cheese- oh wow!

Just stopped by for a late lunch, and once again, it was outstanding. I chose the special: a fantastic breakfast burrito. Feeling indulgent, I also ordered a side of mac and cheese. This place consistently impresses with its delicious food, wonderful staff, and daily specials that never disappoint.

Hi Craig!
Read moreThanks for leaving a review and it's always nice to chat to you at events.
It's incredibly difficult to plan how many portions to bring to events and what will be the most popular dish.
Falkirk Vegan Festival was more popular than anyone could have hoped for and therefore we sold out of things more quickly than expected.
See you at more events soon!

Probably could eat here every day. - Edit
Delicious sandwiches. We had the reuben, hot bacon and a side of mac n cheese. All were incredible. After the meal, we also got a special which was the McRib to takeaway. I am not sure if it was because we saved it for later and it sat for hours and got cold before we had it but it was not as good. We would like to try it again fresh and hot.
Read moreStaff was friendly and location is good as it is just a few steps from the tram. The only downside is that the sun streams into the shop and can be blinding. I might have gotten a sunburn. haha.
I can't wait to go back and try out some other sandwiches.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Co-owner was also super nice. Haggis melt was delicious and the chicken Caesar salad was WELL AND ABOVE any others I've ever had.

I travel over an hour once a week to get my fix - Edit
Plenty of delicious options plus weekly specials kept me coming back week after week to try something new. No menu item should be slept on, they are all incredible, however the mac and cheese is possibly in a league of its own. Everything is made fresh and although the space is small, it's very cosy and very friendly.

BEST VEGAN FOOD I’VE EVER HAD - Edit
I’ve been going here once a week for about 8 months. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and honestly I can’t say they’ve ever missed the mark. The food is INSANELY good. They make all their own cheese and meat in house which is so rare . I tried the Mac and cheez Sando with bacon on my third visit because I saw it had won awards and honestly, I don’t think I could go a single week without eating one. The grilled sandwiches are addictive. The Crunchwrap with chicken is another star of the menu. Kimcheeze is delicious, tuna melt is insane!!!! Must visit for Edinburgh
