Cute little vegan coffee shop - Edit
They had several “specialty” lattes available and a small selection of vegan pastries. They also had breakfast sandwiches. I got the Popcorn Latte: buttery salty theatre which was DELISH, and my wife got the Oregon and Chill with matcha and Marionberry cold cream. Would highly recommend stopping by for one of their unique specialty lattes.

Best mocha of my life - Edit
As the title says! I was worried it would be crowded with minimal seating based on previous reviews, but there was still room inside and out around 10 on a Saturday. I got an iced mocha with oat milk (no further modifications) and it was delicious. I also appreciated the fact they use real dishware instead of just disposable plastic

Super tasty vegan pastries and I really liked the breakfast sandwich! I asked the barista what they recommended and got the caramel popcorn latte. It was so yummy! The staff were very kind too😄will definitely be back next time we visit Portland!

I was walking to the office and just happened to stumble on this spot by chance when I saw the plant-based sign on the front. So happy I did!

I’m going to sound like the biggest complainer, but just a couple nitpicks:
- it felt crammed
- I’m one of ‘those people’ who prefers eating most of my food with a fork/knife. You’ll see in my photos how the plates they use are pretty incompatible with this workflow. So I was spilling food everywhere trying to eat it and eventually gave up and ate with my hands. I know this isn’t a problem for most people, but it was a bit frustrating on my end because I didn’t want to make a mess.
I don’t want to let the minor nitpicks distract from the positives:
- good food
- amazing pastries
- excellent drinks
(And yes, that’s the order of what I think is good to best) I still think about the tea I had there.

I got my usual Americano here and it was good but pretty light. I would recommend an 8oz for Americanos here for a good espresso-water ratio. My partner got a “Carmel popcorn” iced latte and said it reminded him of a salt Carmel latte. We’ll probably visit again the next time we’re in Portland.

Maryberry Espresso Tonic had a lot going on, but surprisingly delightful with a beautiful presentation. The caramel corn latte was yummy, though sweet. Pastries from local bakeries are delicious.

This is a super cool spot inside the shaft of an old freight elevator. It feels like a slice of old Portland. The staff is very kind and all of the food is vegan. For pastries they have a mix of Shoofly and another bakery. One of the best Americanos I’ve had in a long time.
