Weigh hey - Edit
A sort of industrial estate that has a coop in it who offer a small amount of health food and vitamins, larger amount of dried goods spices, Jams, peanut butter flour and oils / condiments you bring your own container for and pay by the weight, pet food (my dog absolutely inhaled the vegan tinned combi dog / cat food) as well as having a small cafe with some seats.
Read moreI got deodorant, toilet paper, toothpaste, tins of beans and other Suma vegan meal tins as well as dog poo bags and the aforementioned dog food.
I also stopped to sample the food for an early lunch - thanks loads to the friendly staff who opened the kitchen early for me.
I got the menu item at the bottom, that included " a little bit of everything " - this is what my model of a healthy meal is, and it tasted great. It was smoked tofu, sweet potato, black beans in peppercorn and maybe humus on a bed of rice and salad leaves that was warming and filling. Topped with coriander. All in all very good. I got a coffee with it.
Id recommend making the trip if in or around Derry or even the north coast and getting some supplies, especially if you want to go plastic free and give your money to an ethical coop rather than profit margins for abstract finance!
Pros: Ethical, All veggie, Full of heart

100% delight - Edit
This is the friendliest place, and both me (vegan) and my omni partner love it! The food is amazing, always so delicious, and I love getting treats from the shop also. It's one of my happy places, I just wish it was closer to home!! As it is, coming for a visit is a central part of any airport run - it's minutes from Derry airport, and stopping here is always part of the trip

Great shop and cafe - Edit
A lovely zero waste shop with fresh produce too. A small cafe area with some outdoor seating. The cafe does a selection of salads with onion Bhaji, felafel and that sort of thing.
