Delicious Contemporary Chinese Food, Beautiful Setting - Edit
I've visited Prive outlets quite a number of times, but this was my first time dining at their other concept Empress! Contemporary Chinese restaurant located within Asian Civilisations Museum, with beautiful decor and views of the Singapore River. Indoor seats or al fresco dining outdoor seats available. It's also a popular venue to host weddings and business meals. More importantly, there are plenty of vegan options, which easily rank among the best vegan Chinese food I've had! The dim sum were especially impressive, including the Pan-Fried Impossible Gyoza which ever won the abillion award for top vegan dishes in Singapore. Other items I particularly enjoyed were the Steamed Shanghai 'Xiaolongbao' Dumplings with Impossible Pork, Crispy Lion's Mane Mushroom Spicy Sichuan Style, Crispy Kung Pao Cauliflower, and Sticky Date & Longan Pudding. There are vegetarian and/or plant-based executive lunch sets, weekend dim sum brunch, etc too apart from the a la carte menu. Special shoutout to the friendly and attentive staff, especially William, who went the extra mile to make us feel special and have an enjoyable vegan birthday meal. 5 min walk from Raffles Place MRT station Exit H!

Lovely Fine Dining Experience - Edit
Recommend making a reservation in advance! We did and we saw folks being turned away on a Monday night. We did the vegetarian/vegan set menu! We had plenty of vegan options including apps and desserts. Delicious and plenty of food.

Good selection of vegetarian options - Edit
I dined at Empress often as they cater to myself and my non-vegetarian friends. Besides a good selection of a-la carte vegetarian menu, they also have a vegetarian dim sum buffet lunch on weekends and a plant-based set lunch on weekdays. I tried the plant-based set lunch twice and was equally happy with the food. My friends also found my vegetarian set lunch very tempting! Restaurant service is good and attentive.

Winner in ambience, music, food presentation, taste and service! High quality food at reasonable pricing for what they can offer. Will def go back again. I would love to give 5 stars but it's not allowed in the system.
