The Vegan Cake of my dreams... - Edit
Since going vegan six years ago, I never really found a great vegan birthday cake from a bakery. This weekend, the owner of Empire Donuts made this stunning Chocolate Vegan cake. The icing was subtle and balanced perfectly with the rich chocolate cake, vegan caramel and coconut layer. What I loved is that it doesn't feel like a second rate "vegan option." If you serve this at a birthday no one will even know it's vegan.
Read moreYou can only add four stars if a business is not fully veg- but if you come on Wednesday and Saturday, you can eat all the vegan donuts you want, and have a coffee with oat milk-which is a glorious fully vegan experience to me! You can now call the store to order a vegan cake for your favourite plant based, animal loving people! Five Stars!
