AMAZING FOOD AMAZING SERVICE - Edit
The area that this is located is extremely edgy and cool. So it would be great to visit even if not eating just to sense the atmosphere. I couldn't decide what to eat so I choose the Thai Burger AND a quesadilla. Greedy right. But fortunately for me they added a takeaway box. A local customer also bought me a quiche! It all tasted amazing. The sweet potato fries expecially stood out. The staff were all super lovely and talkative as well. Will definitely be going back.

Disappointing - Edit
This was quite a disappointment. The fries were too salty, the burger patty was still cold in the middle and the overall taste was very average. Also not a very cozy atmosphere. I wouldn't come again.

Great burgers in unique area - Edit
In the middle of the unique Raw complex, which is a great experience on its own, lies this popular vegan restaurant. They serve vegan burgers; one of the best I ever tasted. The patato wedges were perfection: big, salty and crunchy. We sat outside on the porch, which was perfect for a warm (late)summer evening.

This was my third visit to Europe's capital of veganism. The Raw Gelände area of Berlin is one of my favourite areas of Berlin and I make sure to visit every time. As the weather was great we sat outside and watched the world go by. I think the current COVID-19 situation may have temporarily shrunk the menu as it wasn't as varied as usual but the food quality was good and the service friendly. Between us we had the bolognese and the beast burger, all really nice. I've only downvoted the rating because of the lack of variety this time but as I say, it's probably not their fault. I'll definitely be back! Note: cash only!

Not wow, too expensive for what you get - Edit
After reading so many great reviews about this place I was quite disappointed. I ate the rice noodle salad and the noodles weren't cooked well, so they were too hard. The tofu had a very chewy consistency and the portion was quite small but cost 9.50..
Read moreMy friends had the Mac n cheese, which was ok but not wow, and the tacos. The tacos are made from rice and are a more Asian inspired take on tacos. While that is interesting, it didn't really work so well for us.
I really enjoyed their vitamin shot though.
But in general I would suggest to go somewhere else as there are so many vegan places to choose from in Friedrichshain.
Pros: Yummy juice, Friendly personal, Vegan cocktails
Cons: Too expensive, Not that yum

Absolutely great - Edit
This place doesn’t have a great rating for nothing. Really enjoyed eating out here and the staff is super super friendly! (They also have the cutest dog). I would recommend 10/10

Positively Surprised - Edit
Discovered the place during quarantine. The food just blew my mind. Has that homey taste combined with really nice dishes, from the quiche to the Javanesisches Erdnusscurry, not to mention the Black Forest cake. One of my favourite restaurants to order from now that you cannot eat out. Updated from previous review on 2020-05-09

great food, cosy place. unfortunately, the seats near the kitchen smell a little too much like fryer. Better sit in the back.

Best Late Night Bites! - Edit
This place was SO nice! The ambiance is hip and relaxing, and the food is so fresh. You can see them preparing it. Probably some of the best vegan food I’ve had, and the staff was very friendly.
Read moreOnly issue I had was finding the place! My GPS kept trying to take me to a different building across the way instead of to the restaurant, but it was close. Just a warning for those using apple maps that their directions are a tad off!
Pros: Fresh, Delicious Food and Dessert, Amazing, Dark Ambiance, Unique Menu Items to Try
Cons: Hard to Find in the Dark for a Silly Foreigner

Really good food - Edit
Super cozy restaurant. The staff was really friendly and the food awesome.😄if it's cold outside you can heat yourself up at the fireplace. It's inside the RAW-Gelände, which is an alternative centre of culture and worth to visit.

Small menu, all freshly prepared - Edit
Small menu (few items), all freshly prepared. On the day I was there, the mood of the staff was not good — quite a lot of swearing — but it was extremely hot so that might have been the cause. Very fine location in the middle of party/artist area super close to subway tram station 'Warschauer Strasse', i.e., you may go there straight from central train station. Very good food quality. Nice interior design. Good music. Good coffee, good cake. If mood of staff improves, this is a clear five star location😉 Best celery schnitzel on earth.

Understated and full of personality - Edit
While in Berlin I visited this unique restaurant twice, In part because of the food but also because of the staff. I was immediately greeted by the warm, knowledgeable wait staff and I enjoyed different items on each visit. I was given the time to enjoy my meal but also was kept on eye on as the evening continued. Everything served is very fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The drinks are very delicious as well. The menu is diverse and they had specials on both my visits. The chefs clearly care greatly about their craft, I’ll be back There is a lovely bar next door as well.

Why can't it be 1 star? - Edit
Strangest vegan food I've ever eaten... and not in a good way
Read moreTo start we had the small mixed plate. Beetroot hummus was OK, and the red pepper/tomato dip. But the vegan tuna mayo was an odd addition to this. And then to serve it with some kind of cold pickled mushrooms and cucumber with nigella seeds and sichuan peppercorns... Really odd. Not awful, but not good either.
Followed up by a bland bean burger topped with bacon that had the consistency of plastic. The one good thing was it came with very nicely done potato wedges.
The other main was their special of the day, called surf and turf. In meat world this would be steak and seafood/prawns. But this interpretation was salty jackfruit patties deep fried (edible, not entirely unpleasant) sitting on a sea of vegan mayo, served with sickly sweet strawberry (I think) and beetroot potatoes and a bit more of the pickled veg from earlier. Bizarre.
We did not stay for dessert
Pros: Nice chilled atmosphere & friendly staff
Cons: Food combos pretty yuk, Expensive for what it is

Just okay - Edit
Had higher expectations upon reading the reviews, we ordered the tacos and the burger and they both had some sort of strange sweet flavour to them that we couldn’t place. Everything was cooked well, just tasted a bit odd.

We found this wonderful place by the power that is HappyCow. We were not disappointed! Both my partner & I had the bbq “pulled pork” tacos. The flavours were amazing, the tacos so light & crisp. A must try!

Very, very unique experience. - Edit
This cafe/restaurant in the very hip area off of Revaler Straße is quite special. In graffitied old buildings is a gem of a vegan food establishment. A warm welcome is extended when you enter. Our first impressions were that it may be shut so persevere. Only about 7 items on the menu but there should be something for all tastes. The burger is monstrous and there was a fantastic looking curry. The barbecue type sauce in the burger was stunning and the wedges were Indian spiced which worked well. A wide range of drinks were available. I followed up the burger with a vegan Black Forest cake which was one of the most moist and flavoursome vegan cakes I have had. Staff were super friendly and the chef was picking fresh herbs from window boxes and was mindfully making the food.

Loved this place. Their vegan quesadillas were the best ones I've ever had, and the Berlin Beast Burger with potato wedges was very delicious. The staff was also very kind and enthusiastic. I would recommend this place to everyone who's traveling in Berlin.

Our favourite stop in Berlin - Edit
This was our favourite stop in Berlin. The staff was really nice and enthusiastic and the food was exciting. I had the Pulled ‘Pork’ Tacos in a rice paper taco which gave an interesting texture and taste to it all. It was quite oily, but that was part of the deliciousness. All meals that we had were great. Good cakes too and it’s not expensive.
