Serves meat now. Sellouts.

They changed to sell meat and be “inclusive” do not support them. I will change to a 1 star when the vegan status is revoked officially

Best dining experience in our live

This is our second time at Eleven Madison Park and they this time they topped the last, which was the best dining experience we’d ever had in our lives until this latest visit.
We’re vegan & gluten free (celiac) and have a peanut allergy and the food was AMAZING. The staff was attentive. The attention to detail was thoughtful and consistent. Everything was so special. We will go again and again.

Pros: Attentive staff, Amazing food, Creativity

Unforgettable meal

I’ve been to a number of vegan fine dining restaurants around the States, but this was the most outstanding food and experience of them all! I took 2 non-veg friends who went in skeptical, but came out saying it was one of the best meals of their lives! For once I didn’t take photos because it’s so fancy, but everything was beyond delicious and looked like art. We thought the staff was excellent and incredibly well organized in their flow. We even got to go to the kitchen, meet the executive chef, and have a special bite in there. Fantastic and cannot recommend this place any more highly. You won’t regret the splurge.

Didn’t love

I love the fact that they have gone vegan, but having been previously in my (and their) non-vegan days, the old menu was unfortunately better. Some of the flavors and textures were a bit strange for me and I was left feeling unsatisfied. It was a very impressive dining experience, with detailed descriptions of each course and several courses of desserts.

Underwhelmed. One & Done.

Underwhelmed with the overall experience. Exquisite service details matter at this level & they just were not there.

The key interest in going was to experience the plant based menu at a Michelin star level. Loved the seasonal farm to table concept. The food was tasty & the presentation appealing, with the first dish, a creamy mushroom velouté & warm laminated croissant like rolls being the real favorites. There was no ambiance, no charm. It felt corporate. Too loud, annoying music, couldnt really hear what the dishes were-they give you a printed menu at the end, which would have been helpful at the beginning. We expected a warm welcome, but did not get one. We had a reservation & prepaid as required over $500 , were early, but unlike other places, we did not experience being made to feel like this was going to be amazing. Fell far short. Service was perfunctory, though there are plenty of staff, it should have been part of the experience & it was, but not in a good way. Unfortunate. We want to support plant based businesses & the food was decent, but for the price & Michelin star expectations-overall, it fell flat. One & done here.

Respect for Eleven Madison Park

To get the most important things out of the way so that you can decide if you want to come here: Yes, the food is worth the price. Yes, the three michelin star rating is well deserved, and the experience is set apart from other dining. And yes, the full menu is completely worth it too, but it's a lot of food, so you need to come hungry. You will be full.

And no, don't listen to mainstream discourse about this restaurant if you're trying to decide to come. I've noticed that sometimes they dont fully get the immense praise they deserve in the culture of food reviews, and this isn't a reflection of the restaurant. It's a reflection of vegan stigmas and a reflection of people who have limited palettes when it comes to vegetables. I will have to write more and put together something really wonderful for them when I've tried more of their menus over time..

If you really love and appreciate the taste of vegetables, this could very well be the best food experience of your life! It was mine. I highly recommend being very present and mindful with the food throughout the meal.

Plus, service at Eleven Madison Park is what results from getting all of the best people in hospitality together and making sure they all achieve the same mission. I'm grateful to have experienced other really beautiful, formal service that I didn't think could be topped. But at EMP, it wasn't only that. They were attuned to the energy of each individual and constantly adjusting--to best suit the needs of each patron. All of the staff members, at all times. I watched staff interact in various settings: birthdays, family celebrations, anniversaries, date nights, and people who came just because.. the-food-is-the-occasion. They are truly skilled at making sure every customer feels special for being there, and I think they're brilliant.

Perfection!

For as acclaimed as the food is, and deservedly so - it was excellent, when really stood out was the amazing, gracious, welcoming service. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated in a friendly, relaxed way. We did the full tasting menu with wine pairings, which was presented in an unhurried, perfectly timed manner. Not only was everyone we interacted with knowledgeable about each dish and wine, but also the history of the building and philosophy and evolution of Eleven Madison Park. We especially appreciated our lead server Garrett who happily answered our many questions and gave us an idea of what it is like to be a part of the team that is the incomparable Eleven Madison Park.

Wow

Having eaten at The French Laundry back in the day I kinda knew what to expect but this surpassed my expectations and the fact that it’s plant based is so amazing. This was my daughter’s graduation dinner with her brother and uncle and we were all made to feel very cared for at 11 Madison. The food was both delicious and interesting and I can honestly say I slept way better than I did after my meals at The French Laundry.

Bake it Nice Fan

Visited for the Bake It Nice pop-up last weekend. The line was very long but the croissants were definitely worth the two hour wait! Definitely get there early to make sure you get one!

A truly unforgettable experience.

This was my second time celebrating my husband's birthdays here, and once again, everything was exceptional. We absolutely loved the spring menu — each dish was thoughtful, vibrant, and beautifully presented. Julia took such great care of us, Marc curated the perfect wine pairings, and Chloé gave us an incredible behind-the-scenes look into the kitchen. Meeting Chef Humm was the highlight — truly priceless. The food, the experience, and the level of hospitality were nothing short of extraordinary. It's the kind of evening that shifts how you see food and service. I hope everyone gets to experience this at least once — it's truly life-changing.

Pros: Thoughtful service, Beautiful experience,

30min wait for reservation, food was very mid

unacceptably long wait for reservation. only good if you want to have all your food presented in the most insufferable way possible. things just always subtlety bad. like a chocolate covered pretzel with zero salt and no crunch. whole thing seemed like it was trying to be fancy instead of taste good. zero beans, tofu, chickpeas, rice or most other staples anywhere. waste of money.

Eleven Madison … more like Eleven Stars 😍

Ok, this is an expensive experience but that is exactly what is it.. an EXPERIENCE. We did the full tasting menu and it was out of this world good. We were there for 4 hours and left absolutely stuffed ! I thought i would leave hungry as i had the impression dine dining meant hardly any food, but wow was i wrong, we had plenty! Some of the tastiest and most creative food we have had, presentation was amazing and the staff were all super friendly. We got invited into kitchen at the end! What an experience !!

Elegant dinning and service

This is definitely the fanciest elevated dinning experience we’ve ever had. This would probably be the first time i could say confidently that it was well worth the price. From the moment you’re greeted they take your jackets and bags promptly. The seating is so spacious. Everything came out with perfect timing and there was a significant amount of food with the 7 course tasting menu. There was someone tending to the table almost constantly with the revolving set of wait staff. 10/10 would recommend and will be back.

[6⭐️] Absurd, and…worth it

I’ve never eaten at any Michelin-starred restaurant before, let alone one with three. The service is immaculate (shoutout to Nick the somme and Harry/Oswaldo the servers). The experience is so finely tuned. The food is unlike anything I’ve tried, can’t really describe it but to say it was all incredibly unique and delicious. And the portions were actually a bit bigger than I expected—still small of course, but we certainly didn’t leave hungry. Impressed. Will revisit someday

Elevated Plant-Based Dining at Its Finest

Eleven Madison Park redefines plant-based fine dining. Each dish is a masterpiece, blending innovation with seasonal ingredients to create bold, memorable flavors. The attention to detail is unparalleled, from the artistry of the plating to the impeccable service. Highlights included the roasted squash with miso and the black truffle-stuffed celery root—both perfectly balanced and unforgettable.

Unpopular opinion

We had an underwhelming experience, maybe my expectations were too high. The service is incredible, the sommelier was fantastic, the food was not what I was hoping for. The ingredients were extremely humble and in my opinion, lacked the creativity I would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant, especially considering the price. We have been to many Michelin restaurants and I have never been disappointed until this meal. For the money I was expecting to be blown away and that was not the case.

An Experience

Yes, it's expensive. Yes, it's a bit precious. Yes, it's worth every penny. The food is innovative -- you will never find anything like it anywhere else. We got a kitchen tour. Suffice it to say it was nothing like what I expected from The Bear. Immaculate, quiet, orderly and no drama. Service was incredible.

Pros: Innovative Food, Attentive, but not fawning, service, Kitchen tour

Cons: Price
