My recommendation: only order via the app TooGoodToGo - Edit
In my humble opinion the food is not worth the price except if you order their zero-waste packs via the app TooGoodToGo. Don't expect any fancy vegan food thought, it's usually some type of vegan burger + a veganized version of a Spanish traditional dish + a dessert. Wouldn't go back there and it was already the second time I was trying this place.

Cheap, Basic Spanish Vegan Cuisine - Edit
Found in the underwhelming Barcelo Market's basement, El Templo Vegano succeeds by offering relatively good quality food at an affordable price, but don't expect high-end vegan cuisine.
Read moreThe market underwhelms. Other than Templo Vegano, there isn't much to be found. The market's aesthetics leave much to be desired (fluorescent light and concrete floors), but Templo shouldn't be held accountable for Barcelo's shortcomings in a city overpopulated by dingy markets. With that being said, their stall could still use a facelift.
Get a little of everything. The fish is the real star: a moist breading and a textured juicy interior. Everything else will help fill you up on a budget: the flavorful couscous, the creamy croquetas, and the non-traditional tortilla.
Vegans on a budget should consider Templo next time they need a quick fix.

Located across from massive butcher / filled meat hooks - Edit
My daughter was freaked out by the sight of carcasses hanging from hooks at the butcher right across, while we figured out that more than half of the food was not vegan but belonged to "the non-vegan side" of the business. I can't review the food, cause we decided to go somewhere else. But I felt a warning is in place: not a vegan temple and can be shocking if you don't like the sight of dead animals.

Perfect lunch box - Edit
We ordered a 2 vegan packages trough toogoodtogo. The meal kit was already prepared and each contained a box of fruits, veggie/lentil stew and a box with a salad and a burger. It was tasty but the rice veggie stew, tasted better when we reheated it. Eventhough you can eat it cold when you want.
Read moreBecause it was prepackaged we did get a lot of disposable containers, maybe when you come to order food you can ask to use your own box.
It was perfect for our quick diner the next day.
