We had the vegan Lunch wich was lasagna with pumpkin und kale and some onion rings. It was super rich and flavourful and quiet cheap. The staff was super friendly. We waited like 10m to get our order even though the restaurant had just opened

Ruhige Lage, super nettes, aufmerksames Personal, eine großartige Karte mit guter Auswahl an mexikanischen Spezialitäten, alles vegetarisch/vegan. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Portionen ausreichend, um gut satt zu werden. Dazu eine leckere Auswahl an Limonaden, Bier etc.

Wir waren bisher bei jedem Kielbesuch im Sombrero Verde. Das Essen ist immer gut und lecker, aber kein richtiges Geschmackserlebnis. Die Portionen sind mMn über die Jahre kleiner geworden. Die Kartoffel mit Salat war dieses Mal recht klein, hatte kaum Topping und nur etwas Salatdeko.

We made a reservation on the same day and went here for dinner. Honestly I'm still confused about the cheese being vegan here, but staff told us everything is vegan. We had the starter plate which was a heaven of vegan nuggets, breaded avocado slices, mushrooms and onion rings. When we reclaimed a sauce that we didn't order, our waiter immediately brought us a third one, top notch service I have to remark. My partner ordered a burrito, I had the pulled jackfruit arepas in hope of it being not too big of a portion, but I was super full afterwards and super amazed by the food as well. Probably my favourite restaurant in Kiel so far.
