Ok - Edit
The food is passable, nothing amazing that will blow you away, but decent enough that it'll fill your tummy given how convenient it is. If you are eating at night like I was, food isn't really warm so do take note, not cold, just not warm.

I tried the herbal noodle soup. It's a big bowl full of noodles and ingredients at an affordable $5!!!

Nice herbal soup - Edit
Tried their herbal soup at the food court which is crowded during lunch time. Prefer if the soup has more herbal taste but the ingredients are a lot. The rice resembles those Japanese sticky rice.

Affordable zichar and cai png, and the best part is that it is conveniently situated right at Sembawang MRT station!

Everything also don't have - Edit
Don't worth any stars, whatever you want to order, they will not have it.
Read moreThose display dishes are cold and oily, staffs are just to lazy to cook and serve
Can forget about this place and why I can't even rate 1 star?

Swimming in oil. Totally unimaginative. Rude staff.

One of my worst experiences - Edit
Poor service, with the lady at the counter almost entirely uninterested in serving me. Cold food that tasted like leftovers, with certain dishes being overly salty, and mock meat added generously to items that didn’t contain mock meat even when they don’t in non-veg stalls. My friends brown rice was clumpy and mashed up, which left her in shock.

Speaking of their brown rice, there was once when I saw an old lady scolding the staff for their 'hard as rock' brown rice.

Redundant menu - Edit
1st of all, the only 2 items you can order off the impressive menu on the wall/signboard are laksa and herbal soup with noodles/rice. 😂
Read moreThe cai png dishes are not bad. Chef is from China and I like some of the dishes he cooks, namely braised tau kwa/tofu, mustard leaves and braised white radish.
Pros: Uncommon: mustard leaves & braised white radish

The food is what you would expect from any Eight Immortals caipng food stall.

The staff working here are also really friendly :)
