Disappointing - Edit
Saw the great reviews from others and went to try their vegan dumplings. Ordered both steamed and pan fried. Honestly, these were so mid and disappointing. The fillings were so bland and tasteless, left a lot of be desired.

The spot itself and their merch is cute and nice concept with the workers making the dumplings in front of you. Prices were also okay.

veggie surprise 😄 - Edit
I get the veggie surprise when it's vegan (I think it usually is) and otherwise they have a regular vegan dumpling always available. I love trying the new surprise dumplings, and it's always so yummy. you can watch them wrapping the dumplings behind the counter. there's not too much seating (counter seating only), but it's a cozy vibe inside.

Read moreI went on a friday night so it was PACKED but the food was still hot and fresh.
The price was actually pretty nice for where it is in manhattan, me and my friends were walking around looking for sth to eat and this was the only place nearby with reasonable prices that we found.
Loved the idea of the dumpling dough having spinach in it that's clever.
Would go again whenever I'm craving dumplings.

Inexpensive cash only establishment. Great for a quick bite if you don’t want to sacrifice flavour/go to a big chain restaurant. Serves beer. Honestly one of my fave things I ate in NYC. Steamed veggie dumplings pictured but they also had vegan wontons.

we have been coming here for years and this is still not only our favorite place to get dumplings but it’s one of our favorite restaurants ever. it’s always our first stop when we come to NYC. the veggie dumplings are incredible and the vegan wontons are unbelievable. best dumplings EVER 🥟 #Veganuary

The dumplings were good. Got the veggie dumplings and the vegan wontons with the curry dipping sauce and a seaweed salad. The veggie dumplings were good, they had a "beef" crumble type of filling. The vegan wontons were super schloopy, they fell apart when picked up. The tofu mushroom filling was good. I liked it but I wouldn't rush to come back.
