A Fantastic Vegan Restaurant That’s Truly Pet-Friendly - Edit
This is absolutely a fantastic vegan restaurant - and what makes it even wonderful is that it’s genuinely pet-friendly -clean, tidy,l and comfortable for everyone. Well, I brought my two doggies, Stephanie and Alice, along with me. Both waitresses at the front counter were incredibly considerate and kindly provided purified water for my babies, such a thoughtful gesture. While I was there, I also noticed a doggy activity event happening in the backyard. It was really interesting and heartwarming to watch - a lovely touch that makes this place stand out.As for the food, everything was delicious, decent - and incredibly fresh. To beat the summer heat, I ordered a non-alcoholic drink with ice cubes - it was so refreshing that it felt like cooling down my very soul. Highly recommended for vegans and pet lovers alike! 😄

Excellent food! - Edit
Duli is a fantastic example of western inspired dishes with local Chinese influences. A now fully vegan restaurant, Duli is excellent for a light bite at lunch or a full dinner option. Set in a beautiful area of Beijing, Duli should definitely be on your list of places to go!

DuLi proves vegetarian food can be bold, creative, and unforgettable - Edit
As someone who’s always on the hunt for exciting vegetarian spots, DuLi blew me away with how they blend Sichuan flavors and global comfort food so seamlessly.
Read moreHighlights for me were the gongbao pizza (crispy crust, perfectly spiced tofu, that iconic sweet-savory heat) and the dandan sauce gnocchi—who knew pillowy Italian dumplings could pair this well with rich, nutty Sichuan sauce? Even the simple mapo tofu hummus felt like a fun, clever take on two classic flavors.
I love that they’ve kept so many plant-forward options even with the addition of cheese dishes now, and every bite feels intentional, not just “vegetarian for the sake of it.” The space is warm and stylish, and the menu feels like a love letter to both tradition and creativity.
Just make sure to come early—we heard they sometimes close mid-afternoon if dishes sell out, and you definitely don’t want to miss these one-of-a-kind plates.

Yummy food and friendly staff - Edit
A fully vegan restaurant with perfectly English-speaking service. Simple deco with good vibes and nice music. Dishes are nicely presented with creative yummy sauces. A good selection of natural wine and price is very reasonable. Could either be a place for dinner or just to have a quick drink.

Beijing's absolute hidden gem of plant-based dining - Edit
This vegan restaurant is an absolute hidden gem in Beijing! It's located in a really cool old factory building that hosts art exhibitions from time to time.
Read moreThe menu is Asian fusion cuisine — 100% vegan, of course. MAPO TOFU hummus, roasted curry cauliflower, sichuan kou shui pani puri is best! They also brew their own cider, kombucha, and kvass right in-house.
The owner is a Beijing local who truly knows her natural wines, and both she and her team speak excellent English. Cash and POS payments are both accepted. The place has a warm, cozy, family-run vibe, the music is fantastic — not to be missed!!!

Sophisticated Chinese-Western cuisine - Edit
Cool restaurant in a hip area of Beijing.
Read moreThe prices are maybe the highest I've seen in China, except actual gourmet places, but the quality is great and the dishes are really special and different from the usual Chinese food so you should definitely at least give it a try.
Mapo hummus is obviously a must. As a middle eastern I can attest to how good the hummus itself is. The Mapo tofu on top is a great mix.
The mushroom foie gras was another highlight. An amazing appetizer! I also drank an Amazake for the first time, with some berries, and really loved it.
When I was there they did a pop-up collaboration with a Swedish chef, so they had some even weirder dishes! Like cucumber granite with tofu mousse, and aromatic asparagus with rice cakes. Not everything works but I love how experimental they are.
Pros: Creativity, Presentation
Cons: Pretty expensive

Wonderful!!! - Edit
We went last-minute there driving with DiDi because we were really hungry and the only (almost) fully vegan restaurant that is not so far away from us and open until 10 pm. We arrived and we were warmly received. The menu has tons of options and everything looks delicious. Portions seem to be few, but while eating you start to feel yourself really satisfied due to the quality of the food. We ordered the pizza (really spicy! I don't like spicy food and didn't notice that, but it was really delicious despite its spiciness! The pizza dough is simply perfect!!!) and the tofu burrata, to drink with kombucha and tropical smoothie and a tiramisu as dessert. The tiramisu was the best one I've had in my whole life. Not so cheap for Chinese standards, but if you earn in euros or USD it is totally acceptable, because the food is really amazing and tasty!!! I totally recommend going there because worth it! The staff is incredible! And for not being vegan I am not sure, so far I looked at all menu pages no dish is made with animal cheese, my guess is that it is still fully vegan.

Flavor Bomb!! - Edit
The food here is incredible if you like big bold flavors. Whoever thought to pair mapo tofu with hummus was a genius! And the mushroom skewers are the best thing ever. The spice levels are perfect and have just the right touch of mouth numbing mala. We also had the vegetable curry which was good.

Insanely Bomb!!!! - Edit
The food is off the chain. Ten out of ten. And it’s all vegan!!! Please update Happy Cow! (Oh except they sold beeswax sheets with their books and other sundries for sale, and I don’t even know what they were used for, but the food is 100% vegan the staff all said). Anyways, bomb food.

Excellent - Edit
Amazing food and incredibly friendly people. I tried three options and all were very good. Visiting from Sydney and was struggling with food options and in search of a good vegan meal. This place saved my trip and now I feel much better about returning to Beijing. If you’re a vegan in Beijing this place is a must.

Gorgeous space with heavenly flavours - Edit
I was wondering when I would encounter the scene for ‘industrial spaces turned trendy restaurants, coffee shops and graphic design studios’. Today was the day, it seems. After six days of doing Beijing the Beijing way, it was refreshing to find this little western gem. Ambitious dishes with great flavor, a strong (probably natural) wine menu and the most gorgeous redesigned office building, now multi floored restaurant space. The owner (I didn’t catch the name, sorry) was super friendly, service was attentive and the dishes were superb. Everything is vegan.
Read moreYes, it’s a bit above the general price level in Beijing (around 70-100 RMB per main dish), still not expensive for Western European standards, where I happen to come from.

I’ve been three times now and have tried almost everything on the menu. The Mapo Tofu Hummus is to die for. The mushroom kebabs are also incredibly lip-smacking.

Excellent but expensive food - Edit
We tried the burgers in the restaurant and they were excellent. We also took a smoothie and a kvaass and we also really liked it. The staff can speak English and they are helpful. The only caveat of this restaurant is the price of the dishes which are really expensive compared with the price of common restaurants in Beijing.

Happiness rediscovered - Edit
I feel like I've only just finished writing a review of the Shanghai DuLi, in which I lamented the fact that I didn't get to try more of their amazing food... and then I discover there's another one in Beijing that happens to be less than 3km walk from my hotel. True happiness.
Read moreThis is one of those quintessential travel moments. Not only the happy repeat discovery, but that moment of standing out the front of another non-descript commercial style building and thinking "this can't be right!", before walking through those doors to discover an oasis on a hot Beijing day... AND a DuLi serving more outstanding food... AND a bar next door with 25 revolving craft beers on tap.
Seriously, this place would be worth any amount of effort finding it for the elevated food alone, but it's also a very slick venue, with great staff, that happens to be situated in an idyllic little hideaway. That's also not far from a metro station.
Pros: Sensational and very creative food, Fully illustrated menu with English translations, Situated in a stunning "food park"
