Lovely owners - Edit
The owners were happy to chat for hours with me even with my inadequate mandarin. Lu Jie brought out a dish of sweets to eat in accompany of tea. Yuan Jie, the other owner gave me her homemade baozi as I said I loved Chinese buns. She even went out of the shop to show me how to take the right bus to my next destination.
Read moreThey sell mostly self-made cosmetics and homemade sweets like mooncakes. To be honest, I was hoping to find more foodstuffs. There wasn't much variety; However, I might have overspent in this little shop as these women were too generous and sweet!!
4 stars because I could not find many significant items in the shop. But definitely worth a visit if you're around! For the vegan owners.

A real little gem in Beijing - Edit
This shop is not really a food shop, although they have some snacks, but more geared towards cosmetics and clothes. HOWEVER when in my broken Chinese I told the shopperson that I was vegan, they gifted me vegan sausages, eggs, baozi, cookies and other snacks FOR FREE! I was so surprised by their generosity. I was there for 3 hours talking to them about all sorts of things, with my terrible Chinese and our smartphones. Apparently they get by China's strict laws on animal testing by using natural ingredients and testing on themselves. Such honest, beautiful sweet people. You must go! I bought their shampoo and face wash, and it seems to be good quality😄 happycow app had wrong location, search Chinese name 太平老農

WOW! I didn‘t expect this - Edit
I found the store in this app while my husband and I are on a trip around the world (www.rucksackundrentner.de / www.facebook.de/rucksackundrentner)
Read moreMost of the time I have problem to find vegan food. Because our hotel is nearby we went to the shop to have a look.
What then happened was incredible. In the shop I also found some food but couldn‘t read about the contents (only chinese). The old lady who owned the shop communicated with me via Google translatior and asked me if I wanted some foof. Yes!
Please understand. It is a shop for cosmetics and clothes. But she offered some delicious vegan sweets and a expensive tea for free to us.
It was so kind. But our surprise grew. While I tried some of the shirts ( all vegan and in good quality for little price) she brought more food. I was so touched. And the food was so special. Freshly Vegetables, a vegan sausage like chorizo and the very best ... vegan fried eggs. It was extraordinary!!! And sche didn‘t allow us to pay for it. Vegans for vegans. The live what they sell. You don‘t find plastic bags in he shop, the cosmetics are nit only vegan but sutainable and eco. If you want support vegan people with a golden heart and also with love for dogs, please go shopping here.
Pros: Friendly, Sustainable, Vegans for vegans (it is not just a job for them!

Best shop in Beijing, hands down - Edit
Any and all vegans and dog-lovers alike need to visit this shop!
Read moreThe owner is honestly the sweetest person I’ve met here in Beijing and she has an adorable dog named Sunny who helps her run the shop and greets customers at the door.
Everything is vegan here. They have snacks, clothing, teas and a skincare line that is named after the owners two dogs, Sunny and Goody.
There are framed photos of both dogs around the shop and the owner was kind enough to share some wonderful tea and vegan snacks with us as soon as we walked in the door.
I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! 🙂
Pros: Kind owner, Doggy to greet you at the door, Everything is vegan!

All Vegan Tea and Clothes Store - Edit
I went with a Chinese friend, who is a regular customer. Great selection of organic teas, vegan creams, food ingredients and clothes etc. The owner, a lady who has been vegan since 1991, even invited us for a small homemade dinner, which was fabulous. Note that they are not a restaurant, but the food was made with ingredients they sell. Chinese name is 太平老農
