One of the best hummus places in Berlin - Edit
Always exciting to find a great new and authentic hummus place! I got the basic/classic hummus plate and the hummus was delicious, the pita was super fluffy, and the red cabbage side was actually a stand-out as well. Definitely recommend!

Bland, unfriendly staff - Edit
Reading the reviews, I guess I visited on a bad day, but the staff wasn't welcoming at all, I felt like I was annoying them. Some points about this place I found odd:
Read moreMaking the CC machine beg for a tip in a self where you pay before eating is greedy and tacky. Service is included in Germany and a self where you have to order and pick your stuff at the counter has no service anyway.
Plastic plates ? We are not children.
Hilariously, the menu states 1/4 onion and that's exactly what you get, a quarter of an UNPEELED UNCUT old onion with thick layers of skins.
My hummus dish was bland and runny, either their spices are preground and old or they are using very little of them, unroasted. The chickpeas were even unsalted and still slimy from the can. They felt low quality. I couldn't find the confit garlic.
The green falafel felt industrial made and was very bland. Also small.
My friends liked the mushrooms stew but I didn't try it so I can't say.
One small pita bread per dish is far from enough, charging 1.5 € for an extra is greedy. However it was good.
I think the price for quality is not justified.
Pros: The bread, The tangy green sauce, Quantity of hummus
Cons: The CC asking for a tip with no table service, Seasoning needs serious improvement, More bread needed and wow cut the onion

Lekkere en simpele lunch - Edit
Heel wat verschillende soorten hummus met pitabrood. Eten met de handen zorgt voor een leuke ervaring. Heel vriendelijk personeel maakt het helemaal af.

Quick, delicious and satisfying - Edit
Super friendly owner, fast service and great location just off Boxhagener Platz. The hummus was delicious and the vegan egg a tasty novelty.
Read moreAs someone not so familiar with Israeli eating customs, the raw onion and pickles were surprising and I would rather I had remembered to order some falafel to mop up the hummus.

Vegan Mediterranean Middle Eastern restaurant - Edit
Delicious vegan Mediterranean, middle eastern food. Friedrichshain around Boxhagener Platz already has a good variety of vegan choices. This kind of kitchen was still missing. Not anymore:)

Amazing hummus place - Edit
A welcoming place with really good hummus and heartfelt vibes.
Read moreI can recommend everything we have tried: Salads, falafel (green school), hummus, vegan egg, spicy sauces, ice tea...
They are accommodating gluten sensitive people (no pita, but I got some side cabbage salad instead). The vegan egg is made from pea protein (no soy, no gluten).
We could have asked for a refill for our hummus plates (truly Israeli!), but we were already filled and fully satisfied.
We will be back! Glad to have such a place in Berlin.
(Make sure to check opening hours on the website / Instagram - it is currently 5-10 pm Tue-Sun, not as mentioned here on Happy Cow)
Pros: The taste - great menu, Accommodating sensitivities, Friendlyness

Tasty hummus place - Edit
Yummy hummus!
Read moreI liked the taste and the variety of menu options a lot.
Portion size could have been a bit bigger for my taste (more eggplant?) and regarding the price.
Lentil sweet potato salat tasted great. Also the soft bread that came with the plate.
Want to come back and try more from the menu.
