Fun flavors - Edit
Three of us shared a maple twist, Portland fog, caramel rosemary and chocolate. They were all great. I wish they had some indoor seating or outdoor covered seating, but the donuts were tasty.

World’s Best Donuts - Edit
Doe Donuts are the best donuts in the world! You wouldn’t know that they are vegan just by the taste of them. They always have a variety of sweet donuts (as well as seasonal varieties). But my favorite are the savory donuts! I had a BLT donut during my last visit, which was to die for! Another past favorite was their macaroni and cheese donut (Don’t knock it until you try it!)

No joke, they were so good, and it's been so long since I've had a good donut that they just made me very happy treats! The Portland fog donut was my favorite, but the classic die and the sour peach ring were amazing as well!

This donut shop did not disappoint. They had so many seasonal and interesting flavors that other Portland places didn't. It's a bit out of the way of downtown, but worth the bus ride to enjoy vegan donuts ❤️

Doe does yeast raised vegan donuts well! No cake donuts available that we saw. We tried the sour peach ring, the Portland fog, the breakfast blt, and a savory chive one that I think was seasonal cause it’s not on the current menu anymore.
Read moreI was ready for the bergamot to overpower the fog donut flavor but it was perfect. The blt one was an indulgent vegan junk food breakfast that was absolutely satisfying on an empty stomach. The sour peach one was so fun to eat in addition to delicious. Even the chive/savory one impressed. Glad we stopped by on our trip to Portland.

I remember loving these before I was vegan, and now having them a year or two later, they’re a taste of heaven. Portland Fog is a go-to and loved the Doe last time.

Hands Down the Best Vegan Donuts - Edit
These are hands down the best vegan donuts we have ever had. While Voodoo Donuts is interesting and creative, they are a little too sugary for our taste. That is not a bad thing, but Doe Donuts is just too damn good.

Big, beautiful donuts! 🍩 Creative and very tasty! Our family found more than one we thought was the best donut we’ve had. Definitely order a few and explore the unique seasonal creations, as well as a few classics. We also tried the BLT sandwich, which had great flavors and a plain donut bun. Our daughter wanted ice cream too, which was served on a chocolate dipped sprinkle cone. (Unfortunately devoured before I got a picture!)

Always appreciate vegan donuts, but these were not the best I've had. Since they don't have many classic donut varieties, you are at the whim of the unique flavor combos they have when you visit. We struggled to select donuts that appealed to us. Sometimes a vegan just wants a classic and familiar donut, you know? We tried the simplest ones of the assortment, including a Homer style pink donut and plain glaze twist, and they were underwhelming. The frosting/fillings were good enough, but the dough was a bit dry. Glad others are loving them, though!
