I try to be healthy, but this place exists - Edit
Ugh someone brought a bunch of donuts from here to a party and I got addicted. They are far better than voodoo and fully vegan. They also have stellar house made milks that are to die for.

Delicious Donuts! - Edit
Best donuts I’ve ever had! Lots of very creative flavor options about half are seasonal and half are year round. New location is very nice and now has ice cream!

Creative and delicious - Edit
Doe has delicious donut staples (the Portland Fog is my go-to!) and they shine with seasonal specialties like their stuffed mac & cheese, pumpkin spice, and maple [coconut] bacon donuts.

Top-Tier Vegan Donuts - Edit
They offer seasonal flavors, so that's all I tried: pear fritter with butterscotch glaze, maple glaze with coconut bacon, and chocolate porter glaze with buttery oat crumble. Every donut was outstanding. The maple was so big and fluffy that it barely fit in my mouth. Cute shop too.

Misses the mark - Edit
I’ve really tried multiple times to like Doe, but straight forward they’re just not good😡I’m sure when there’s no competition around of course they’ll seem great, but there’s just so much better elsewhere. The donuts are spongey and tasteless. The staff are super friendly so that’s a plus.

Sooooo many donuts! - Edit
The only problem I had with this place was figuring out which donuts to choose from. Luckily, they do a deal where they pick 6 for $18 lol I went with that

Excellent vegan donuts - Edit
Portland has a new contender for the coveted best vegan donut title. Doe donuts is a small shop pretty far out in the east side. Their selection/donut variety type is similar to voodoo, where you get funky choices like Banana Split or Strawberry Cream. They mostly have raised donuts, but some cakey ones as well.

Everything amazing! - Edit
All the donuts I tried were delicious. Most of their donuts are yeast style donuts and a few cake donuts. They were soft and fluffy.

Best donuts in the god damn world - Edit
Let me tell you, Ever since I tried their donuts, I never wanted to eat donuts anywhere else because nowhere else even compares to doe’s. When I first tried their donuts (over a year ago), I literally gasped when I took a bite because their so soft. It’s like biting into an angels sweet ass. They change up their flavors every month which is awesome and they look unique and taste REAL. You’ll never find a better donut. Yeah they can be pricey but god damn it I don’t care. They’re too good.

Such a cute little shop! The donuts were absolutely delicious. I didn't bother going to Voodoo because I honestly don't think anything can compare.

Closest to Krispy Kreme I've Tasted! - Edit
This place is amazing! It's probably the closest vegan version of Krispy Kreme that I've ever tasted (only the flavors are way fancier). The only downside is that it's not in the best location- If there was one closer to downtown it would be ideal, but either way, the amazing donuts make up for it! Highly recommend going here.

Got me doe-eyed! - Edit
We just tried the donuts here today and maaaaan, SO GOOD! Passing through Portland for our first time we figured swinging by Voodoo would be a must, but after finding out that they don't really have *that* many vegan options (or maybe we're just spoiled by living in SoCal) we thought it'd be best to find an all-vegan donut place to patronize. And we found Doe!
Read moreWe tried the Doe (a "strawberry milk" icing with sprinkles), peppermint crunch, chocolate peanut butter crunch (slightly reminiscent of butterfinger), and a lingonberry something-or-other. They were all yeast-raised. I actually prefer cake donuts, but I know vegan donut places usually get flak for relying on cake recipes versus yeast-raised. These were very, very good.
Aside from the food, the staff were friendly and the place is super cute. Soy and almond milk are offered presumably free of charge: they're placed on the table opposite the counter in those pump decanters often seen in hotels that offer coffee or orange juice or hot water, and next to them are little cups.
Oh, and the boxes the donuts are served in are adorable *and* handy: being the width of a donut and long, you don't get a bunch of donuts all smushed together or stacked on top of each other. And the bottom has a great message.
Very cute place with delicious donuts. Must try!
Pros: delicious, reasonably priced, adorable store, no huge lines

one donut to rule them all - Edit
I have sampled many a vegan donut. I have loved many a vegan donut. THESE ARE THE BEST. The absolute, flipping best. Though I am totally a raised donut > cake donut kinda person, so a little biased. But their apple cider cake donut (most others were raised) were also incredible, so these beautiful donut makers can do it all!! I know Seattle may seem rich in vegan donuts, but I'll tell ya I'm hurting for some more Doe!
