A more expansive version of Dharma Cafe down the street - Edit
Dharma Kula has a relaxed cafe vibe with more space than its older sibling down the road and a more extensive menu to match. The Nasi Campur here is particularly good. We like wasabi avocado toast, too.

Unique Vegan Pizzas with Fresh, Local Ingredients - Edit
Dharma Kula delivers a delicious variety of fully vegan pizzas with creative toppings. Over two orders, we tried the Pesto Pumpkin, Mushroom, Veggie, and Cheeseburger pizzas, with the Veggie and Cheeseburger standing out as favourites. The flavours are unique and satisfying, made with fresh, local ingredients. The pizzas were slightly cold with very chewy crusts the first time, likely due to the distance between us and the restaurant (as we got delivery), but closer proximity on the second order resulted in a softer crust and warmer pizza. A minor issue with the white base sauce was easily resolved by adding a note on the second order. We also enjoyed a green juice on one occasion, which was lovely.

Pros: Fresh, locally sourced ingredients., Creative and unique pizza flavours., Service that responds to customer feedback.
Cons: Pizzas may arrive less than ideal if far away, White base pizzas may lack sauce unless requested.

Very disappointing - Edit
The space is lovely but we were very disappointed with the food. The menu seems very tasteful but we found it very bland and costly for the portion sizes. The coffee was good

New decent restaurant - Edit
Went with 2 other friends, one is a chef..both enjoyed their meals..i had an avocado hummus spicy mushroom on sourdough, would have been excellent but Avocado was a bit bitter not ripe..also had the jackfruit nuggets which perhaps was boiled jackfruit seeds mashed..because tasted more like a mashed potato nugget , yellow sweet potato fries were good, purple sweet potato too hard.

People who complain about slow service, probably have rarely spent time cooking.

Really disappointing - Edit
I don’t even know where to start. Perhaps with the fact that I really wanted to like the place. I really didn’t. The staff was absolutely helpless, slow and clueless. I ordered theee things, and only two of them were delivered, one completely forgotten about because the seemingly new waitress (maybe she was really that horrible that she wasn’t new on the job…) didn’t care to write down my order. The pizza was lacking cheese or any consistency or care. It was a pretty bad experience, and I couldn’t wait to leave. Not recommended. There are so many other amazing restaurants in Ubud; don’t waste your time here.
