A few vegan options - Edit
Update: The vegan burger was very dry and I would not recommend. It is a shame because it is made from lentils from Gotland. The vegan salad was good, it came with hummus and avocado cream. Only minus was that is was so well chilled that the taste got lost.

The burger was okay. The patty was a little dry but the sauce and the other toppings were good. Fries were amazing.

I don’t expect much from food eaten on a mode of transportation, and I was honestly shocked to see (labeled!) vegan items on the ferry at all. I got the hummus and quinoa salad and it was shockingly good. Maybe a little over dressed but honestly good enough that it was worth reviewing in the first place!

I had the hummus wrap and the vegan burger with fries, which both tasted quite good. The burgerpatty is made from quinoa, green lentils and tempeh and tasted better than many imitation meats. All in all, it was tasty and filling.

It's nice that there are at least three vegan options, which seems to be a pretty good amount for Gotland! Unfortunately they weren't anything special, the wrap had a nice amount of filling but tasted a bit bitter and had huge chuncks of finger thick raw kale stems. The noodle salad with soy protein skewers was nice and fresh, but the flavor combination wasn't the best. Maybe next time we'd take our own snacks to eat on the ferry, but if you're in need of a meal this is a decent option.

Can't complain, there is some vegan ice cream and snacks and even some real food, and in the end they even get you to and from the island, which is kinda the main purpose.

There are three options available for a hungry vegan: a burger, a salad and a wrap. The bigger the pricie, the bigger the portion.
Read moreFrankly, the food is pretty good, although it’s somewhat pricy for what you get (as would be expected since this is a ferry and the options are limited).
