First of all: an all vegan place in France is worth a visit. Service is nice and speaks English, tables outside are on a beautiful square. But: service was really slow. The fountain on the square had a fishy smell. And the food was, well, so-so. We had the starter of the day, which I did not finish as it had a musty, unpleasant taste. The main of the day was better, but nothing special to be true. We payed 70€. So we left pleased that we found a vegan place, but not all happy with the food. Unfortunately.

Really enjoyed our meal here, the food was top quality and full of flavour.

Every dish was well thought out and presented, and tasted amazing.
My only complaint would be that the portions were a bit on the small side, and the price of each dish, though you are paying the price for the location here.
It has to be said that the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble for them despite us being a group of 12 hungry vegan bikers!
I would go back to Metz just to visit this establishment!
Pros: Food, Location, The fact the desserts weren’t overly sweet!
Cons: Portion sizes. , Price.

Délices Veggies is an all-vegan spot with a friendly team and a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is limited in variety but changes frequently with plat du jour options made from local ingredients. While the food is good and nicely presented, it’s not particularly memorable, and the recipes could be more refined or creative considering the price range.
Read moreThey only serve lunch and offer non-alcoholic beverages, which is fine, but it’s something to note. The space is quite small, and tables are very close together—it can feel cramped, and it’s difficult to move around once seated.
Nice but very slow service. I expected more in terms of food diversity and comfort for the price.

Ich hatte von der Tageskarte als Vorspeise einen Käsekuchen aus Spargel und als Hauptspeise das Sauerkraut mit Kartoffeln und Sojawürstchen. Auch das Mousse au Chocolates war hervorragend.

We had a lovely meal here at lunch time. Quite expensive but the food was extremely good and mostly organic. They have a standard menu with three of each starters, mains and dessert, plus ‘les suggestions’ with a further starter, main plus a burger and two more desserts. They also brought an amuse bouche which was a lovely beetroot hummus on sourdough with pea shoots.

There were three burger options, we had falafel burger, Beyond meat burger, another French brand of burger. They came with smashed potatoes and a homemade mayonnaise. We also had the lentil and vegetable dhal with rice and green beans. For dessert we tried the chocolate mousse, chocolate and speciloos cake and plumb and strawberry cheesecake. There was a great selection of drinks too. Seating inside or outside in the pretty square.

In this part of France there aren't a lot of 100% plant based options to eat. In Metz we found this one and its was a very pleasant experience. We could sit outside on a nice square under the trees. The service was impeccable.
Read moreIt looks like the restaurant had a nice make over (the toilets smelled like they were fresh painted) and the inside of the restaurant looks better than on (old) pictures here.
The drinks were 100% bio and the food tasted good. We both had the burger, one beyond meat and one the falafel. On the side there were some smashed/baked potatoes which were yummy. Better than the fries we expected.
The only thing we didnt like so much was the price. Almost €20 for a burger with no so much greens and little on the side, it is a little expensive.

We had the Christmas set (available only in December) which includes a faux gras, a tofu wellington and a part of the «Bûche de Noel» (yule log cake).

All the dishes were yummy, but I preferred the choucroute.
The staff was friendly and the restaurant was spacious and had a nice atmosphere.
There's just one other vegan place in Metz which is only for take-away, so if you are in town, Délices Veggies is a must!

Restaurant vegan parfait, carte avec beaucoup de choix et 100% vegan, choix sans gluten possible, plats du jours toujours délicieux, terrasse avec fontaine très agréable en été.

A menu that can seem huge at first sight but in fact they don’t have many dishes. They offer a wide range of burger patties from differents brands (Les Nouveaux Fermiers, Beyond Meat or ones that are homemade seasoned)

This is a restaurant to fit everyone. If you crave for fat burger, you can go there, if you’re more on the healthy side, there are stuff for you.

We had to wait for a long time (over 30 min) before the only waitress at the restaurant even took our order. After another 30 min our drinks finally came and the very average and not really special homemade vegan steak was served after yet another 30 min. I would only recommend this restaurant if there are no better options.
