Small office bakery

This tiny bakery has a regularly changing assortment of scones, cookies, poundcake and small cakes. Most items are sweet, but there are also a couple of scones that are less sweet and contain vegetables and vegan parmesan cheese. The bakery items are simple and could be categorized as home-style baking.

To me, the taste was okay overall. The madeleines are very sweet (maybe too sweet for some). The "savory" scones are extremely dry and crumbly. I liked the large smore cookies with vegan marshmellows best, because they are slightly crunchy and chewy inside.

Prices are low (madeleines for 1300 KRW) to "vegan average" (scones for 3500, cube cake for 5500 KRW), although most items are quite small.

The bakery is located in a somewhat sketchy area, inside a tall building with offices, motels, massage shops, Noraebang and parking lots on top. The bakery is on the second floor, inside a room that used to be an office. The interior is bright and colorful, decorated with merchandise of Kpop idols.
Technically, there are four chairs for customers to sit and eat on location. But seating is directly next to the baker's workspace, so most customers just do take-out, according to the owner. A curious location alltogether!

Pros: friendly owner, taste ok

Cons: strange location

Hidden Vegan Bakery

They should change the name! This place is not easy to find. You need to follow signs from the street and come to an unmarked door in an office building. Then be brave enough to trust it is the right door. They really should put a "Dear Vegan" sign on the door.

That being said, they had alot of options for being a small takeaway only bakery. When I was there it was the standard scones, cookies, crumbles, muffins, etc. I bought quite a bit because I was worried she had too much stock out for the location. Ate it all in 2 days so I have to admit her scones and cookies are good. I reallly liked her savory scones. Happy to find such a hidden location with good vegan baked goods. Hope she eventually has a storefront.
