Tasty food and nice atmosphere - Edit
I visited the botanical gardens and this place was a short walk away. Lovely seating area with friendly staff. I had the burger, which they veganised (no cheese). Nice place 💚

De La Llama is a charming restaurant with great vegan options. I had the Llama Thai. It was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent too.

Delicious food, cute ambiance - Edit
Came here for dinner with a friend. I enjoyed the pineapple and basil lemonade and the Llama Thai entree. Plate was big and filling. Hugh end pricing for Ecuador but worth every dollar.

one of my favorite restaurants in Quito - Edit
I would give this restaurant 5 stars if it was possible for a restaurant that serves meat. There are adorable drawings people have done on the paper tablecloths decorating the walls. The Llama Thai is what I get every time. With the quinoa base it’s a great source of protein and even more if you chose to eat it with the egg. The portobello mushroom that comes on top is so so good. Many of the dishes can be made vegan just by asking for no cheese.

Vegan Friendly Gem in Quito - Edit
Amazing place! They take traditional recipes and update them with great quality ingredients and a hint of Asian influences.
Read moreWaitress suggested vegan alternatives to their dishes, even non vegetarian items on the menu could be easily adapted on request.
We had the chanduches, chocho falafels, sango and motepillo - all delicious. We also tried their own brand Sriracha which is unbelievable.
The owners are passionate about using less plastic and being conscious about the products they use which I thought was great!
Go!
Pros: Good vibe, outstanding vegan options, staff speak fluent English

Came back in 2022. Food is still amazing with even more vegan options and amazing flavours. They now have a vegan burger made out of chocho (Andean lupin bean) and it’s excellent!
