Vegan options are all very interesting and takeaway only is brilliant. We found our Champignon pizza basic. The crust was nice, but little flavor. The pizza is topped with sliced cheese and maybe it was too much, or better without. We can’t decide.

Da Francesco's pizzaiolo, presumably named Francesco, has been making pizza since 1988 AD.
Read moreHe has certainly got the knack of it by now, most visibly in his calm efficiency.
He currently offers at least 6 fully vegan pizza options, plus a filled focaccia.

I found this spot browsing through Happy Cow on "Quatorze Julliet" and reading the reviews, I had to visit this spot, too. I was there around 5PM (totally not busy at all for a Sunday/ National holiday and the Euro Finals evening) and I have to say that the reviews are spot on!
Read moreI had the pizza Vegetalien and really enjoyed the big juicy and fresh chunks of aubergine, courgette, artichoke, mushrooms, and tomato. Topped with a good amount of tasty vegan cheese that was melted so deliciously, I was totally enjoying stuffing my face in the sun at the beach.
The owner double-checked if I was aware that it was a vegan pizza and asked me if I was aware that it had vegan cheese and no mozzarella on it.
He also asked me if I wanted the pizza cut in slices and did happily so when I said yes. The pizza has a floppy slice with a firm crust, and I totally love it like that. I tuck the point of the slice inwards and fold the crust together so that nothing of the toppings and juices drops from my slice.
We talked in a mix of French and English, and I saw that he is a true appreciated person in the neighbourhood witnessing his conversations with other customers/acquaintances.
Just like the other positive reviews, I totally recommend visiting Da Francesco for a great pizza for yourself or with your vegan/non-vegan friends and family! It's nearby the beach and Hotel Negresco and easy to find with Google Maps. Small reminder that it's only a take away place.

Señor Francesco makes authentic pizzas with fresh ingredients as you’re watching. Best to order in advance by phone around the busy hours and otherwise it’s worth the wait. We had the vegetalien and the mushroom pizza, which we very much enjoyed.

The pizza was very good! My only criticism is that the chunks of eggplant were huge and difficult to eat that way. Also, all the pizzas are cut with the same pizza cutter so theoretically there could be traces of non vegan ingredients on it that transfer to your vegan pizza.

One of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot over the years. The owner is Italian, so he knows his stuff. It was fun to take the pizza to the beach and watch the sunset! If you’re there during peak dinner hours, expect to wait. I think we waited about 45 minutes and we arrived about 7:10.

A lot of vegan options. I had the pizze végétalien which had a bit too much of vegan cheese but was still tasty. Be aware that it's only take away. The price is fine.

Pizza was alright, didn’t really meet expectations for an “italian” pizza restaurant and the vegan cheese was actually just slices of vegan cheddar cooked on a pizza base as you could see the squares.

Best vegan pizza I had! We were there around 7 to get pizza for dinner and waited about 10 minutes. It is in walking distance to the sea so we could enjoy our still hot pizzas there.
