We did takeaway. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had hummus, tabouli, falafel and spicy potatoes. Typically, I find most hummus and tabouli need a little extra boost and I add more lemon juice and salt. I did not find either of these from Te’ta Marie needed extra seasoning. We did find the potatoes overly greasy and would not order them again.

Maybe I was just extra lucky to stumble across Thym & Olive (pending as a happy cow listing) on night one, but in comparison to there this place was disappointing. There were a lot of vegan mezze, but very expensive and not that tasty. I’d say 5 mezze between 2 is about right portion size, but apart from the cauliflower they were all a bit bland.

The food we had here was great, but I did nearly eat cheese because an item was mislabelled (spinach parcels) and the only reason I didn’t is because my vegetarian friend tried them first.

Fantastic experience - Edit
I can’t say enough good things about Teta Marie. The food was not only amazing, but there were so many choices. When we go out, my husband is often left with ‘the vegan item’ on the menu. Here we had to study long and hard to narrow down which of the multiple options we would try. We will definitely be back before leaving Nice.

They have lots of options. But it's always better to double check in person. As an example, I noticed they marked a pesto dish as vegan, so I was curious and I asked what they put instead of cheese and they replied that there is cheese in that dish. So be careful and double check!
