Creative, fresh and tasty Sushi in a special place - Edit
When we visited we were greeted by the very friendly cook working in the open kitchen preparing fresh ingredients for the evening. The place is designed very differently than most restaurants as they just have one long communal table were all guests sit together and the kitchen can be seen by the guests and you can chat with the cook. Very cool vibe!
Read moreAfter the cook welcomed us he told us that they recently switched to a simple three to four courses menu. The cook asked us who many and what dishes we wanted.
We went for Edamame, sushi and a Brazilian stew. For the Sushi we were also offered fish as an option besides the vegan Sushi (I guess they changed their concept a bit and are not fully vegan anymore. This is the reason for my 4 four stars.).
We settled for the vegan version which was freshly prepared for us. Due to the open kitchen you could see with how much care and love the fresh ingredients like mushrooms and avocado were bing prepped and then rolled into delicious Sushi rolls.
The Sushi was hands down one of the best I ever had (And I have been to Japan recently ;)). The Brazilian stew was also very good.
For drinks we had local brewed beer and lemonade from the cooks own lemon tree.
After we finished our food we did chat a bit with the cook who as it turns out is also the owner. Very great guy, who gave us some good tips for sightseeing in Lisbon. You should definitely talk a bit with him if you visit!
All in all this was an very nice evening for us with great food and great people!

After over a year of doing our best to sustain ourselves as a fully plant-based restaurant, we made the difficult decision to expand our menu slightly. Sushi Burritos! - Edit
We went here today. We got the combo with a burrito, edamame and drink of the day. I got the shiitake mushroom burrito and my wife got the tofu burrito. They were both amazing. The edamame beans were great and so was the lemon and ginger drink. I wanted to buy another burrito for the walk home.

I came in as it was pouring buckets outside and Cultivate really felt like a refuge because of how sweet the guy working here was to me! The sushirritos are rolled meticulously and are simple but full of flavor. I asked for the tofu sushirrito without cucumber, and was offered mushroom as a substitute, and when I asked for spice, he whipped up the most delicious sauce to go with it. 10/10 recommend for a lunch spot!
