Creating a warm, communal dining experience with fresh, lovingly prepared food is important to us. You're absolutely right that we've shifted slightly from our original fully vegan concept. After over a year of doing our best to sustain ourselves as a fully plant-based restaurant, we made the difficult decision to expand our menu slightly. It wasn’t a choice we took lightly — we’re deeply committed to sustainability and still rooted in our love for plant-based cooking — but we found it really challenging to sustain our business in our specific neighborhood in Lisbon while staying 100% vegan. That said, we remain committed to sourcing responsibly. Any fish we serve is always local and wild — never farmed — and chosen with care and intention to support our values around sustainability and seasonality. Organic and plant-based options will always remain central to what we do, and we're so happy you enjoyed the vegan menu. Hearing that the sushi was one of the best you’ve ever had (especially after a trip to Japan!) made our chef's day!
