I am all for supporting small independent vegan businesses, but charging 6 pounds for a very small choux bun that was stale, I did expect better quality. I would give them a chance for cooked and hot food but personally, I wouldn’t buy a pastry here again.

Tasty lunch and dessert options - Edit
My partner had been dying to visit this spot to try their cream cakes - due to a busy tourist itinerary, we also ended up going for the savoury lunch menu.
Read moreI had the chicken Kyiv and thought it was tasty. The chicken had a good texture and there was a good crispy coating. Lots of garlic butter oozed out when he cut it open, which was a fun sight, and it provided good flavour. The mash was smooth and the pea puree was pleasant. A good tasty dish.
My partner had mushroom and potato dumplings. This dish was perfectly pleasant, but not amazing. The filling was nice but a little bland for her. The sauce also didn't add much flavour. The sour cream had the most going on. Still, the textures and presentation were nice.
I haven't had many vegan eclairs, so we both ordered the Snickers eclair and it was good fun. The chocolate choux was maybe a little too thick and spongy, but I'm really not a choux connoisseur, so I may be wrong. The chocolate cream was great. The caramel and nuts were coated in thick chocolate, it was really tasty and not too sweet. The whole thing is dusted with gold, somewhat unnecessarily, but the textures were great and it was robustly constructed and easy to eat.
Unfortunately, we didn't love the hot drinks we ordered. The hot chocolate is available with white, milk, or dark chocolate. Milk was too sweet for my partner (and she has a very sweet tooth), it was quite unpleasant. I didn't love the taste of my latte either. However, we did love the soft drinks we had earlier in the meal.
The cafe was very busy when we were there around 1pm, and the upstairs seating area felt quite cramped. People were enjoying the chintzy decor, but when the cafe was busy it contributed towards the cramped feeling for me. For us it was a nice spot for a fancy pastry and a short stay.

There’s a wide selection of small vegan desserts. The ‘XOCO’ were surprisingly delicious. The ‘Winter Sun’ was the best dessert I’ve ever had. The café is beautifully decorated and the staff were very friendly.

Delicious Ukrainian Food - Edit
Lovely cafe to try Ukrainian food. We tried to get as many of the Ukrainian options as possible. They had a good selection of Ukrainian drinks, like Kvass (black bread drink) and Uzvar (smoky fruit drink).
Read moreFood was delicious. The borscht gazpacho hybrid was refreshing and the meat varenyky were really flavourful with pumpkin puree and sour cream. The cakes and pastries all looked wonderful. We opted for the hazelnut Kyiv cake and the honey cake, both light and flavourful (ate them before we could get a picture). Staff are friendly and it felt like I was eating straight from someone’s home kitchen.
Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area or you’re searching out vegan versions of different cultural foods!

The menu is wide ranging and has enough for all meals and snacks. I personally didn't enjoy my iced Americano as being too bitter but my partner found it ok. There are many other interesting unique drinks to try on the menu.
It is expensive, particularly the pastries, but it is London and there is a lot of skill involved.
Would recommend.

Beautiful and Delicious Cakes - Edit
I took my daughter to visit this cafe as it had been on our to do list for a very long time and we finally got the chance to go. The cakes did not disappoint, they were absolutely amazing. To have that range of choice as a vegan is something so rare and so appreciated, it was so difficult to choose, and we went a little overboard and got ourselves quite a selection! We each had a macaron (£3 each so not too expensive, very crumbly and delicate to eat but so delicious) and we tried the Blueberry Choux bun and the Mango Passion Fruit Choux bun, and the flavour of this one was incredible! We also split a raspberry almond tart between us and I have to say this was my favourite! For drinks we had the hot chocolate (very nice but I wish it had been a little bigger) and the Magical Lemonade which my daughter loved! Served with a little dish of lemon juice to swirl in which changed the drink colour from blue to purple.
Read moreMy only slightly negative comment is that we visited on a Friday and there was just one staff member run off their feet. Drinks orders were backed up so we waited a long time to order, and this staff member was not able to clear any tables, so me and my daughter brought dishes and cups up to the counter from other tables. The person who served us was lovely and friendly, but I think she could use a bit more help to make things run more smoothly.
My daughter has also seen photos of the cafe online and was disappointed to see all the beautiful flowers outside and on the ceiling have gone. She loved the rose print wallpaper inside, which makes the cafe lovely and cosy.
Overall, thank you so much from a very sweet toothed vegan, for providing a dedicated vegan cafe with so many delightful cakes and pastries. We promise to come again and try the desserts we missed on this occasion.

This place was so cozy especially on a rainy day! Me and mom read and sipped coffee here. The whole aesthetic was cats, flower wallpaper and pink. I must also mention that the coffee mugs were adorable. I didn’t realize until I asked for the restroom, but there’s also a second floor. The lady working at the counter was very sweet as well.

A place where you can feel normal - Edit
I have spent more than I care to remember in this cafe. Fully Vegan and mostly gluten free. Not just desserts, there is breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seating downstairs and upstairs. They also put on particular events. All staff are from Ukraine. There are now cheaper options for sweet treats, from 1.50. There are some areas for improvement, but I give my support because there is nowhere else like it.

Only thing I would say is with 1 mug of green tea and the tart it came to £17...thats a little pricey even if it's vegan.

A large part of the cost also reflects the time and care our team puts into each dessert with fair staff wages, and of course the realities of running a small business in central London like rent, utilities, and taxes.

Compramos dos pasteles (uno relleno de chocolate y otro de vainilla) y un café para llevar. El café buenísimo, pero los pasteles no estaban nada dulces y nos parecieron de los peores que hemos probado nunca… parecía que no tenían nada de sabor. Viendo otros comentarios, me parece que simplemente nos dio la casualidad de que tuvieron mal día. Confío en volver y que estén muchísimo mejor.
