I freaking loved this place!! - Edit
One of the number 1 things I miss being plant based is the pastries so was so happy when I found this spot! Beautifully decorated and really lovely service. My almond crossaint was incredible. The only thing I would say is the toilets could be cleaner but everything else makes up for that.

Overpriced, overrated - Edit
Adding a star for being fully vegan and supporting Ukraine, but the desserts were way overpriced and unbelievably sweet - the sweetness overpowered all other flavor and there wasn’t much texture. We tried a bunch of cakes and didn’t really like any, sorry!

Sweet, savoury, cute, cosy. - Edit
We split a cinnamon roll and the varenyky dumplings with meat, and it was hard to believe it was all vegan. The food was tasty and the service good; can't fault the place. A really nice little place for a break from the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden.

Excellent salmon and chicken kiev - Edit
We had a really good English breakfast one day, then came back another day for dinner. We had the salmon and the chicken kiev, and we are jealous that we don’t have them back home. Highly recommend!

As soon as I saw there was a Ukrainian vegan restaurant in London I knew I had to go. The pedaheh were so good, and I had a hard time choosing my pastries. Wish I could come here every week.

Cute & pink but very expensive - Edit
The place and aesthetics are lovely and there are many options to choose from. Overall good pastries and drinks although not everything was to my liking and it was way too expensive (hence the three stars). 40 pounds for 3 small pastries, a cup of coffee and a cup of tea seems a bit much.

I've never known vegan pastries like it - Edit
I have been vegan for over ten years now. I have travelled a fair bit, both in the UK, Europe and the US. In all that time I haven't ever had pastries this good. It was a last minute addition to a day trip, which we found via Happycow. I'm planning on going back into London for these cakes for my birthday next month.
Read moreThe server was very friendly and patient while we took forever to choose. We had four cakes between two, and coffees. All were very very good, and the fondant pear was tremendous fun. I had a traditional coffee with 12 spices and it was the first time I've had coffee black and with no sugar (as recommended by the server) and it was really good. I felt like I was in Brewster's cafe in Animal Crossing. My friend had an Americano and said it was very good, although regretted she hadn't had the same as me for something new and different.
We went in the evening and there was only one person in front of us, so didn't have to wait very long. The coffee came a little after the cake but only by a few minutes. It's an independent cafe after all, not a massive chain - nobody should be expecting instant service even in london.
Pros: Variety of options (all vegan), Allergens clearly labelled (soy, wheat etc ), Atmosphere was cosy and warm

Went here for breakfast and had some delicious pancakes and baked goods - the kyiv cake in particular was amazing. Also had the bumble coffee which is a Ukrainian specialty that has coffee topped with orange juice topped with espresso. Unique and tasty! The shop is tiny but has sufficient seating and is super cute. Highly recommend.

Okay - Edit
Came late in the day, so maybe that affected our experience. Super cute decor, but had an unappetizing smell and didn't feel inviting. Pasties looked and tasted a little sad. Maybe evening isn't the right time to visit.

AMAZING cakes and vegan food!!!! - Edit
Exquisite pastries here are a real treat. Every mouthful is bliss and the vegan cream in these cakes is every bit as good as cow cream, and NOT the usual fake-tasting vegan cream. This is extremely high quality cake making, but vegan. Also, the staff are Ukrainian and really nice.
Read moreThe new vegan food menu is also TOP quality and delicious. I had the vegan English breakfast, complete with fried eggs, bacon and sausages! The fried eggs are made there to a secret recipe (I tried!) and are the most delicious eggs I’ve had since I stopped eating those from inside a chicken.

I’m Ukrainian and wish my grandma could travel I know she would love this place 🥲 we ate here 5 days in a row. The sugar free peach iced tea is the most refreshing drink I’ve ever had. The borscht is unreal. The plating and plate ware and silk napkin wraps and flowers everywhere are so beautiful. Want to come back just for this place

Not awful by any means - Edit
Without taking anything else into consideration it's pretty nice. I have two complaints; firstly that cakes should be served at room temperature, not cold enough to freeze your teeth off, and secondly that it's nice but not £11 for an eclair nice. The items themselves while at times visually inventive are on the whole familiar to the palette. This can be a good thing in some cases, but while better places (in London!) command lower prices I can not in good conscience recommend it. The mushroom cocoa while sounding bizarre tastes very tame. The kvass is quite traditional and while £4 is slightly steep it's not beyond the norm these days. If the cakes were half the price I still wouldn't say they were masterpieces but they'd taste better in the soul if not the mouth.

Little vegan heaven - Edit
Absolutely stunning place. While portions may seem small they are in fact quite filling, but also a bit pricey. Zrazy? Delicious. Crêpes?? Scrumptious. Cherry tonka dessert??? Otherworldly. Drinks were amazing too, especially the rhubarb & strawberry lemonade. And the interior design and music choice? On point. Staff members were lovely too. Would visit again millions of times but sadly I don't live in the UK 💔 The only things I didn't like that much were macaroons, madeleines and eclairs which I never had in a non vegan nor a vegan version before so I'll turn a blind eye to it since I have no comparisons. On the pics: salmon steak, zrazy, strawberry lemonade, crepes & then some other stuff 👀

Ok coffee, good pastries - Edit
Unfortunately this place didn't match our expectations. The coffee was not so good as it had a really sour note. The pastry options are really great, and the Vanilla Eclair was a delight, but the Almond Croissant was dry and tasted a bit like leftover from yesterday. However the interior was so cute, so it was definitely worth going in there :-D
