Quite amazing to step into this pretty cafe and see all the beautiful patisserie laid out. Stunning creations!
Read moreTried Ukrainian honey cake, peanut eclair and a lemon. I should probably have got them out of the fridge a little earlier, but they tasted good. And honey cake probably our favourite!
Updated 24/11/25: first time I’ve had proper lunch there - amazing! Full, delicious food feels properly home made. Beautifully served. ‘Chicken’ Kiev was crisp and delicious, and comforting mash with little tasty sauces. Has to be tried to be believed!

Little slice of heaven - Edit
Called in here for breakfast- the most decadent I’ve had. Great, quirky space, what I presume was Ukrainian music playing.
Read moreAsked for a recommendation for a cake to go with my coffee and was recommended the cherry tonka one which was utterly blissful.

Overpriced, overrated - Edit
Adding a star for being fully vegan and supporting Ukraine, but the desserts were way overpriced and unbelievably sweet - the sweetness overpowered all other flavor and there wasn’t much texture. We tried a bunch of cakes and didn’t really like any, sorry!

Sweet, savoury, cute, cosy. - Edit
We split a cinnamon roll and the varenyky dumplings with meat, and it was hard to believe it was all vegan. The food was tasty and the service good; can't fault the place. A really nice little place for a break from the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden.

Excellent salmon and chicken kiev - Edit
We had a really good English breakfast one day, then came back another day for dinner. We had the salmon and the chicken kiev, and we are jealous that we don’t have them back home. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous plating and food - Edit
As soon as I saw there was a Ukrainian vegan restaurant in London I knew I had to go. The pedaheh were so good, and I had a hard time choosing my pastries. Wish I could come here every week.

I've never known vegan pastries like it - Edit
I have been vegan for over ten years now. I have travelled a fair bit, both in the UK, Europe and the US. In all that time I haven't ever had pastries this good. It was a last minute addition to a day trip, which we found via Happycow. I'm planning on going back into London for these cakes for my birthday next month.
Read moreThe server was very friendly and patient while we took forever to choose. We had four cakes between two, and coffees. All were very very good, and the fondant pear was tremendous fun. I had a traditional coffee with 12 spices and it was the first time I've had coffee black and with no sugar (as recommended by the server) and it was really good. I felt like I was in Brewster's cafe in Animal Crossing. My friend had an Americano and said it was very good, although regretted she hadn't had the same as me for something new and different.
We went in the evening and there was only one person in front of us, so didn't have to wait very long. The coffee came a little after the cake but only by a few minutes. It's an independent cafe after all, not a massive chain - nobody should be expecting instant service even in london.
Pros: Variety of options (all vegan), Allergens clearly labelled (soy, wheat etc ), Atmosphere was cosy and warm

Delicious pastries - Edit
Went here for breakfast and had some delicious pancakes and baked goods - the kyiv cake in particular was amazing. Also had the bumble coffee which is a Ukrainian specialty that has coffee topped with orange juice topped with espresso. Unique and tasty! The shop is tiny but has sufficient seating and is super cute. Highly recommend.

Okay - Edit
Came late in the day, so maybe that affected our experience. Super cute decor, but had an unappetizing smell and didn't feel inviting. Pasties looked and tasted a little sad. Maybe evening isn't the right time to visit.
