Vegan (100%) AND gluten free (mostly!)

I had a fresh juice & an almond croissant that was 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌 just unbelievably delicious!

Pros: Baked goods!!!!, Fresh pressed healthy juices, Exquisitely crafted pastries

Cons: Pricey, but great for a high tea treat!

Incredible desserts

Vegan dessert cafe perfect for quick desserts. We had strawberry tarts in our way to an event and the crème patissiere was mind-blowingly delicious! Expensive but so worth it 😋

Great cakes but very expensive

A cute cafe with a wide range of drinks and interesting cakes and pastries. I was a bit shocked about the price of the cakes at ~£10 for each small item.

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: Price

Vegan pastry café plus Ukrainian meals

Beautiful and delicious treats, all vegan and gluten-free - éclairs, tarts, cakes and cookies. The mango-passionfruit éclair and chocolate "travel cake" (like a brownie) were great. Not inexpensive. I loved the cashew-caramel cookie. Next time, I took away a raspberry-marzipan tart - good and not overly sweet.
Hot and cold drinks available - try one of their special teas!
Ukrainian-inspired food menu too, but not on Mondays or Wednesdays. I went back to try the vegan Chicken Kyiv, and it was delicious! Crusty outside, tasty inside. Served with mashed potatoes, and attractively garnished.

Happy to support a Ukrainian business.

Delicious Vegan Pastries

Dreamy vegan pastries that are gluten free too! Lots of the cakes were also soya free which was great for my friend who has a soy intolerance. I had the vanilla eclaire and it was delicious, well worth the price as a treat! She had the “honey” cake which she said was also really nice. The staff were really friendly, we got free cat stickers, the coffee was nice, and it is very pink!!! 💕

Pros: Vegan pastries , Friendly staff , Good coffee

Hidden gem in central london

Decked out in gaudy pink this unique Ukrainian joint serves delicious vegan takes on classic dishes that you’d usually struggle to find. As well as hearty & imaginative Eastern European savouries they also serve fabulous looking cakes & pastries. The wine list includes a lot of national varieties. Next time I’m definitely going to try the cherry & chocolate verenky!

The best vegan cafe

Amazing vegan place! I have several allergies but still could enjoy gluten free, vegan and sugar free desserts! My favourite is cheery cake but snickers eclair is my second choice.
And Carpathian tea was amazing too, for the 5£ you can have a teapot for 3 people that they also refill for free, it’s so different from usual teas I've tried, it’s a very nice herbal tea.
Another time I also tried their Ukrainian cuisine, and borsch is just on another level! Literally licked my plate. And baristas are really sweet and it was nice to talk to them.
Location is great too, so close to most important tourist places, I always stop by when I’m in central London
I also followed them in instagram and TikTok and the story of this place is heartbreaking
Definitely coming back soon!!! 😍

Pros: Cherry&chocolate tart , Snickers eclair , Pistachio tart

The best Ukrainian cafe in London🇺🇦

Very nice Ukrainians from different parts of Ukraine work in the cafe. Very sincere, always help in choosing a drink or dessert.
Large selection of vegan desserts and prices are adequate for the center.
I highly recommend to try and visit this very beautiful and aesthetic place.

Lovely

Cute little Ukrainian place. The verenyky were lovely. We were a tad bit underwhelmed by the deserts. Buckwheat tea was incredible. I would go back but wouldn’t rush to do so.

Pros: Nice verenyky, Delicious buckwheat tea

Cons: Expensive

Underwhelmed

I was super excited to find a vegan cafe while craving chocolate!

Coffee was lovely but the chocolate and hazelnut cake was one of the driest things I’ve ever had to eat 😫

I’m not a fan of cream alts so there wasn’t much else to pick from being so late on in the afternoon.

Pros: Atmosphere , Tasty coffee, Location

Cons: Price

Very tasty

Nice cosy cafe. We only had some cakes and a pot of herbal tea to share but will definitely be going back to try the food. The cake prices are a bit eye-watering but definitely worth a try. The tea blend was really good too. Delicious!

Pros: Innovative , Delicious , Something different

Cons: Price, Felt ignored at the counter

Dollars to Causes

Cream Dream offers a wonderful selection of vegan sweet creations with proceeds and labor benefiting people in need—a wonderful choice for a sweet-tooth fix in the center.

This review concerns their 2good2go experience, an app offering discounted food. I commend them for using this app to ensure that all food, regardless of aesthetics, gets eaten. Edible food should never be thrown away because of a mistake in presentation or an impending expiration date.

A fluffy pink dream meets you before you enter like walking into a restaurant hidden in a little girl’s pillow. The whimsical decor continues inside with pink everything.

The Tonka and Pear is interesting. A sliver of pear sits on top of a chocolate cream, housed by a crunchy shell. The travel cake busted with textures—gooey chocolate, spongey cake, and crunchy hazelnuts. The Tonka and Pear has a durable shell with chocolate cream topped with slivered pear.

All proceeds go to Ukraine and the entire staff is Ukrainian. In times like these, supporting a business like Cream Dream makes your dollars/pounds/whatever mean much more.

With inventive, well-crafted sweets for a contemporary cause, Cream Dream stands out against the center-London fray.

Pros: Good Cause, Eco-conscious, Creative
