Não imaginava encontrar tamanha gema em Guimarães. O restaurante é super bem localizado, em um local lindo e confortável, cheio de personalidade.
Read moreA comida é sazonal, então fomos em outubro e já pudemos desfrutar folhadinho de alheira com maionese de maçã, massa fresca com espetinho de tofu e abacaxi, além de um delicioso mil folhas de batata com alheira que estava simplesmente divino! Para finalizar, as sobremesas eram incríveis, folhado de avelã, e um café de bolotas para experimentar.
Fiquei muito feliz de encontrar um restaurante de tão alta qualidade na região, por isso,os preços também são um pouco mais elevados, porém compensa.
Também há opções vegetarianas e workshops que acontecem com certa periodicidade.
Só posso recomendar, a experiência foi além do que eu imaginava, espero voltar em breve!

As part of our European sustainability project, our group had a food workshop with Liliana and Dinis and their team at Cor de Tangerina. They took a lot of time to make us reflect on our connection to food and why what we choose to eat each day really matters from an environmentally sustainable point of view.
Read moreWe got to prepare a whole vegetarian / vegan menu with them - baking acorn bread, preparing vegetable lentil soup, creamy vegetable rice with mushrooms and beans and a carob cake.
The process was super fun and insightful, we got to ask a lot of questions and the food tasted amazing!
The ambience at Cor de Tangerina is really beautiful too. This was the highlight of our whole programme in Portugal!

On top the owners are super pet friendly,once they rescued a sibling pair of puppies from famine and were distributing the adoption via instagram,in the end we stayed with one of the dogs and he’s part of the family now!
Good people and winners of one of the most prestigious culinary price in Portugal in the vegan category!
On top of that the building is very charming,acomodating and sunny and warm colored.
You feel instantly relaxed and at ease!

This is the most expensive vegan/vegetarian venue in the area. Our two desserts were 14 euros. The dinner plates were award winning color combinations but lacked harmonious seasoning and were generally bland to the taste. The carrot cake was delicious.

This was literally heaven on earth. I’ve never tasted anything so good in my entire life. We had gratin pasta with vegan cheese in it, with well cooked veggies under it… even the sauce was perfect and you can notice the difference in the freshness of the elements of your plate. For dessert I had a delicious carob mousse. The place was also really old cottage aesthetic vibes and we love to see it. Perfect location where Portugal was born? What can I ask for more? 🍊 #Veganuary

Very nice place for vegetarian food (vegan available). I was here during a medieval city festival and the menu was renamed accordingly. The staff was dressed in medieval cloth too.

My favorite!!! Traveling from the Spain countryside to Porto, we stopped here for lunch. It was absolutely delicious. My husband had the Meal of the Day that included a soup and dessert. His meal was a garlic puff pastry filled with seitan, with rice and a small salad. The seitan was very flavorful and well spiced. I had the quinoa pasta with a pesto made from basil and hazelnut, in a lentil cream sauce with a side skewer of smoked tofu and pineapple. I loved my dish and the presentation made it look like art! The desserts we had were an apple crumble that had an intense almond flavor and another was a puff pastry with a fruity marmalade, also presented very artfully with a flower! This whole meal was so delicious and satisfying. At first the waitress seemed cold and harsh. Before she sat us she said “you know this is a vegetarian restaurant” It seemed rude and was a little off putting but we endured and by the end of the meal she was nicer.
